Devhook launcherThe last we heard of Chunglam was way back in the tail-end of October when he just released version 1.65c of his creation, the Devhook Launcher/ VSHEX Mod. But, lookie here, Chunglam is back at the scene, doing what he does best - and that is dishing out updates for this app. This time, he released version 1.65c3 of this app.

First time QJ reader? New PSP owner? Just in case everything in this article looks like Cuneiform to you, well let us give you a picture of what this app is. Basically, Chunglam's Devhook Launcher/ VSHEX Mod is a spin-off of TheBuzzer's Devhook GUI Launcher Mod. Chunglam doesn't want you to be in the dark as to how to use this app so he provided a detailed readme, Mini FAQ, and history texts that you should all read - regardless if you're a first-time user or not.

With this update, Chunglam is indeed keeping up with the times as he just added cheat device">Edison Carter's Cheat Device 1.0d PRX for GTA-LCS and Cheat Device 2.1a PRX for GTA-Vice City Stories. Before we end this, we would like to thank BobJoe for the tip. So with that, let's jump to the changelog.

Version 1.65c3

  • Added Cheat Device 1.0d PRX for GTA-LCS by Edison Carter
  • Added Cheat Device 2.1a PRX for GTA-VCS by Edison Carter
  • Added modified MP3 player PRX by AhMan, please note this is not same prx as the mp3 prx comes with IRSHELL
    • This is a modified version of the opensource mp3 prx for irshell. It will play mp3 files from ms0:/PSP/MUSIC (no subdirs). It has random and sequential play modes.
    • Controls
      • Note + Left Trigger = pause/resume playback
      • Note + Right Trigger = next song
      • Note + Square = switch playback mode between random and seqeuntial
  • Added USB Host File System server/driver for Windows
  • Updated CW Cheat to 0.1.6
  • Updated Cheat Master 0.6 alpha
  • Updated systemctrl_dh4se.prx from 2.71SE-B3
Vshexmod 1.26
  • Added "Add-on Menu" to enable/disable "CW Cheat", "Cheat Master, "Cheat Device LCS", "Cheat Device VCS", "IRSHELL" and "MP3 Player" in game mode, use "SELECT" key to toggle  enabled/disabled mode. Please note "IRSHELL" option is only for IRSHELL 2.2SE.

Only for IRShell 2.2SE. This is the first time I've seen homebrew prepared in anticipation for homebrew innovation before released. I guess this is what happens when the homebrew developers organize and work with each other. How awesome is that?

To find the other options hold [HOME] for 3 seconds then use the analg stick to go down to the add on menu and highlight the cheat you want to use and press [SELECT] to enable/disable it. :) WOO HOOO GREAT WORK CHUNGLAM!!!

I'm running 2.71 SE-b' and I have Eragon as a .cso file. When I launch the program and select the game and all it shows up and regardless of what setting I choose when I press run game the screen stays black for lik 6 seconds then turns off. I tried everything. Is there something I'm missing or not doing right? I can't play any UMD games either, it does the same thing. Any help or suggestiong is very appreciated.

What update file are you suppost to have in the psar folder
2.82 or 1.5?

I didn't know you could run homebrew on 2.8 now?

Say 2.82 is the right update PBP file, this won't prevent me from using homebrew unless 2.82 it's now hackable?

I've been off the seen for a month an a half, alot of stuff changes in the devworld since then I guess.

So 2.82 eboot.pbp is the correct psar file?

Is this a bypass or does it mod my flash and then I can't go back to 1.5?
