so is this just a tv streaming application for psp? thus requiring a computer to be on?and then you will require a tv card or some kind of input in your pc? correct me if ive got the totally wrong end of the stick here...
does this work with any capture card?
Great news :) keep up the good work !!!
and say 'hi' to ur wife also ;)
OMGWTFBBQ?!
" the only hardware requirements for eTV is a video card"
really? i doubt it ..
there is a server that strems the tv content from the video card and then streams it into the psp
correct me if I'm wrong, but if I have a perfectly good TV at home, would the only use of this be if I don't want to watch TV on my computer? I suppose this could be useful if your computer is a DVR also and you didn't want to sit at your computer to watch the recordings. Sounds like fun, but I don't know too many people that will actually find this useful. Keep up the good work though.
btw its not a video card, its a video capture card.
HAPPY MARRIAGE! YOUVE GOT ALL OUR LOVE! =`]
ps: check out the huge number of people who update and buy a locationfree station (or whatever). instead of buying that thing, ditlew made it able for free :)
Can you use this outside of your own router? For Instance can I use this at a place like starbucks and get connected to my input?
I know this sounds sad but if you listen at 1:50 of the video can anyone else hear the theme song for halo?
btw nice work and im here if you ever want a beta tester, or some graphics for the logos and such.
Is there a remote possibility that sound will eventually be included? That would make this eTV tits.
I am also curious if the channel changing is going on from the PSP or is that being done by changing the channel on the PC?
I have a BT878 tuner card that'll work great. I am very excited about this program. I really would like to see full features and sound support. Ditlew deserves more than a great marriage - hoorah! Way to go man...
this would be great to let me watch tv in bed (the other half is a bit funny about tv's in the bedroom)..
shame i don't have a tv capture card in my windows pc. make it compatible with mythtv and i'll be over the moon!
congrats and good luck with the marriage and thanks for working hard on us who love homebrew so much.
1.50 only, right?
Who the heck is moaning like that on the background soudn lol
Is there any sound??
does this work on 2.6 ?
What is a video capture card ?
A little typing error there, thanks!
Some video cards have video inputs, also. You Quite a few of them do actually. For example, the ATI Radeon X800XL video card that I have has VIVO (Video Input/Video Output) capabilities that I use to connect my PS2 to my PC to play on my computer monitor.
The point is, you don't necessarily need to have a dedicated TV tuner or A/V capture device if your vid card has these functions built-in. Obviously, if your vid card can't do that, then yes, you'll need to get another dedicated capture device.
1.) No sound yet, will add before release.
2.) Channels are changed on the psp.
3.) Not all tv tuners cards are supported, but server source will be released.
4.) The moaming .. have no idea, my wife to be was watching something on the tv.
5.) Will do my best to support all homebrew firmwares, but currently only tested on 1.5.
6.) Yes, it can be used remotely at starbuck or another hotspot, just adjust the quality to make the framerate fluid.
7.) Tnx, for all the congrats on my marriage :)
// Ditlew
you still need a video Capture card really, your Video card obviously has it built in, but your video card is also a video capture card.
Ditlew thanks and grats. Im been waiting the TVSP release with sound for a long time. But yours seems better. Ill be waiting for the release of one of the best homebrew in my opinion thx.
congratudations on the Marraige! And also congrats on getting head while recording! Can you hear his wife to be?? go to 0:54 and you'll hear her sucknig him and he starts breathing hard. HAHAHAH
LNAtropic
So is there a possibility to set-up my wireless speedtouch 110g to transmit instead of receiving? that would be cool. So i don't need to buy a external router instead. is this actually possible?
hope you can make it good for even 2.6 firmware. Well, good luck with everything. Have a nice marraige.
congrats ditlew!!
is it possible to get a list of working capture cards...
iv got an ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 128 AGP...pretty old...will it work
anyone know of a card that they are sure will work with this? or atleast work witht eh last tv *****
ReGenesis was playing on the PSP. I love that show! I thought it only aired in Canada...
