Prinny is indeed headed for North America in his own Disgaea side-scrolling spin-off care of NIS America.

The western release was confirmed last month, but now via press wire, we finally get a release window of when to expect the game: February 2009 - not all that big a gap from Japan's release this month.

Coupled with the announcement, we also get to formalize the official English title. Previously only dubbed as "Prinny: Is it OK if I'm the Main Character" or some other variant thereof, the game is now to be formally called Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?

We also have a more screenshots following the batch we had the other day, not to mention the box art for the North American version of the game.
