Doom for the PSP - Image 1

Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer Chilly Willy offered us network play with his version 1.2 release of Doom for the PSP - and now, with the latest version, version 1.3, we're not only able to play against other people online, but we can also play against people across platforms. Yes, you read that right - version 1.3 of Doom for the PSP now offers cross-platform network gaming with the PC, Mac, or Amiga versions of the classic first-person shooter. Awesome!

Chilly Willy has also spruced up the GUI so that players will find it easier to set up a Network game. This includes the ability to set up the starting level and skill of any game, so it's all good for us who want just a bit more customization to our online fragfests.

Here's the complete (yet brief) changelog of version 1.3:
  • Networking nows works.
  • Completely changed GUI as relates to network gaming.
