Duke Nukem Trilogy - Image 1Apogee Software is back with a vengeance (and hopefully a bagful of Devastator Ammo)! The company just rolled out a press release which announced that they have entered a partnership with 3D Realms and will be releasing a new Duke Nukem game for both the Nintendo DS and Sony PlayStation Portable.

According to the announcement, the game will be called Duke Nukem Trilogy and will be composed of three episodes, namely, Critical Mass, Chain Reaction, and Proving Grounds.

If they throw in the classic weapons like freeze and shrink rays, pipebombs, and the big boot then we may have a winner. That said, here's to hoping we get to hear more about these games when E3 2008 hits.
