Koei will be rolling out some free DLC for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce later in the day today. The first set of add-on content will go live on the PlayStation Store at around 6:00 PM PDT. Hit the jump for more details.

The PSP installment of the never ending battle between the Three Kingdoms is finally hitting Western shores as Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce gets gold status. The armies of Shu, Wu, and Wei will once again collide, but this time, with twists and features never before seen in the Dynasty Warriors franchise.

Not much by way of the PS3 PlayStation Store this week. Just some packs and other miscellaneous content. The usual suspects are there. But as for the PSP Store, Europe's PSN update for this week finally makes the free demo for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce available.

For the past couple of months, most of what we've heard for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce came from Japan. Now, with the western release nearing, it's finally gotten some attention on the PlayStation Blog. Yes, from here on out, we can probably hear more about the English version of Multi-raid. First big news: a free demo hits PSN tomorrow! Also, we get to see another (somewhat recycled) trailer.

I seem to have missed the delay announcement for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce. The last release date I heard about was the March 24 date, but apparently the game's launch has been rescheduled. Or I could have just been wrong about the earlier release. Whatever the case, check out the new release dates after the jump.

Played the demo for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce yet? For all you folks in London, here's something that's gonna be a bit better than that - the real thing. Koei teamed up with TokyoToys to have a Dynasty Warriors Day on April 18, 2009 at the London TokyoToys, where Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce will be playable before its release. That's right, you get to play with the Three Kingdoms early in the United Kingdom. More details in the full article.

So. Are you a fan of Chinese movies? Maybe you're a fan of John Woo films? Or maybe... you just find Zhao Wei hot? (Or if you swing the other way, Takeshi Kaneshiro, hmmm?) Whatever the case, the DVD for Red Cliff (Part 1) is just about to be released in DVD form in Japan.

So why is this posted in the PSP section, anyway? Well, since the movie is related to the Three Kingdoms history, guess who decided to pounce on this opportunity to promote their upcoming game?

The official US and EU websites for Koei's Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce have gone live in anticipation of the PSP title's upcoming release. If you happen to have a Japanese PSN account, you can download the Japanese demo (Shin Sangoku Musou: Multi Raid) on February 17.

The existence of the rumored PSP-3000 bundle for Koei's Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid (Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce for us gaijin) has been confirmed. The bundle will include a copy of the game along with the Radiant Red variant of the new Carnival Colors PSP-3000s. More details after the jump.
