A fresh dose of monster-hunting joy coming for you in this video update of Monster Hunter Freedom 2 from E3. We get you the skinny on what's to expect with the sequel to the game that lets you hunt big, giant things you'd normally be having nightmares of.

The two trailers pretty much show off the game's graphics, and considering that they're on the PlayStation Portable, those are some mighty impressive graphics indeed. The animations aren't looking so bad, either, and everything has a grand and epic sense of scale to things. The armor, the weapons, the detail on the monsters you'll be facing off against - Capcom's certainly outdone themselves in making this monster-sized adventure fit on the diminutive PSP.

Updates about Monster Hunter Freedom 2 as we get them. In the meantime, enjoy the videos!

only about 6 weeks left until this game gets released its going to be awesome. I've played the japanese version but i cant read japanese, but still getting a peek at this awesome game was worth it. I heard you can transfer zennie and some items. Wonder if thats the same for the U.S. version and what we can transfer.

I have played the Japanese version in a back up and I have used a program that translated most of the text for wuests and weapons and that sort of stuff and I am pleased to say that the new monsters have been amped up to extremes. One of the new monsters is like the quest to kill a silver soul rathlos and the gold soul rathain in one monster with steroids. Only people that have played the first game will be able to outwit the mosters
