NCAA football 2007

A bug where the ball had been taken back to the spot of initial contact when you run past the defense in NCAA football 07 for the PSP has been angering gamers recently. As a result, worldwide publisher Electronic Arts are replacing the bugged NCAA UMDs for free. The new replacements are guaranteed to be bug-free and you can get your hands on one by sending the defective UMD to:

EA Customer Warranty
Attn: NCAA PSP
209 Redwood Shores Parkway
Redwood City, CA 94065

You also have to include your name, Address, E-mail address and Phone number somewhere in the package. It does take around 10 business days to receive the replacement disk, but in compensation EA are including coupons worth $15 off your next purchase at the EA Store as well as free shipping on that order for anyone affected. Obviously, EA's beta testing was a bit flawed for the game to get to the mass-production phase before this bug was noticed. We guess it could have been worse, at least the disk contained NCAA and not an adult movie.

Yes I believe this is the second psp game they have released with bugs in it. Don't EA test these?

#3 is correct. This is the second PSP game released with game altering defects. What the hell is wrong with EA? And then they claim they're going to drop support for the PSP? Good! Now maybe we'll get QUALITY games from other developers instead of the garbage EA dishes out to us (except Burnout Legends, that was bad ass)!

how many times I read the title as "buggered"
I think it was about 5 thinking "wtf?!?"

was the last comment necessary? It's not even relevant to the article.

eh, i didn't mean last "comment..."

I meant the last statement by the news poster referring to the porn movie.

It just annoys me that EA sells buggy games, and then looks at sony and says "pick it up big boy"

Pass the buck anyone?

   by tigerfan297 (Unregistered) - 2006-08-25

will the new disks still be a 2.6 game? If by some chance they are 2.8 then those of us who use devhook won't be able to play it. after all, you know how sony is...

» 4th funk up for EA on PSP

1)MVP Baseball had a freezing problem (recalled)
2)Madden 2006 had a freezing problem (recalled)
3)Gretzky NHL had a freezing problem (haven't read about this one, but the UMD that came with my PSP has this problem, so I've experienced it first hand)
4)NCAA 07 has a game play defect (recalled)

So far nothing wrong with Madden 2007, but we'll see.
