EBGames placeholder for Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 - Image 1 EBGames placeholder for Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 - Image 2

How much did you like Medal of Honor: Heroes for the PlayStation Portable? We asked because we might be getting the sequel in the near future if EBGames' placeholders come true.

We've found not one, but two placeholders (as you can see above) for Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. One is on EBGames' PSP page while the other one is one the Wii page. Hmm... Very interesting. We reported a few weeks back about the sequel getting a placeholder on GameFly, but that's only for the PSP version.

We checked the interwebs further and found two placeholders on Amazon for the said sequel. Amazon and EBGames seems to agree on the tentative release date: November 6, 2007.

Well, let's all cross our fingers and hope these really do come out as the placeholders predict. In the meantime, we'll file this under the Rumors bin for now while we wait for solid confirmation from Electronic Arts. Stay glued.

This is great news. I think MoH:H is by far the best FPS for PSP. I'll be looking forward to this.

Why is the Wii version 10 bucks more expensive. Isn't it easier, cheaper and faster to develop for the Wii? I thought that when Nintendo announced how easy it was to develop for its new console that we would be seeing games coming out at around the 37 dollar area.

Lol, Wii is only powerful enough that it has to share releases with PSP. Wii is such a failure of a console. Five years from now when Sony has great looking games and people have upgraded to HD-TV's, everyone will wonder what the big fuss over Nintendo was about. I know graphics don't make a great game, but gimmicky controls for old graphics can only sell a system for so long. When all the new sweet games come out in High Definition, people will buy a 360 or PS3. And everyone who bought a Wii will wonder why none of the good games come out for their system and all they have left to play is another Mario, another Smash Bros., another Zelda, and nothing else. Wii may be fun now, just realize that your buying into another gamecube with a remote controller. And we all know what happened to Gamecube.

 » Wii - not a big deal?

I think you need to take a look at what your saying. You make some good points but they seem to counter your own arguments. "5 Years" is the average turnaround for a console. In five years everybody "may" have HD-TV's but that is not the case NOW, and you can get great system, for half the price of a 360 and a third the price of a PS3. In 5 years Nintendo will probably be releasing another console, one that supports 1080p and can slaughter the graphics capabilities of both the 360 and PS3. Your gonna have to wait another 7-8 years before Sony is ready to release another console. Also the fact that it's being simultanously released with the psp doesn't say anything about how powerful the system is. You can have the exact same game with completely different data ( ie higher poly models, higher res textures ) and different rendering methods and have two completely different visual results. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to say that the wii is comparable in horse power to a 360 or PS3, I'm just saying that done right you can create a game for two seperate platforms and still tap the full potential of both.
