Resistance Retribution - Image 1If you're planning to get Resistance: Retribution on the PSP (and man, I don't see any reason why not!), you might want to be quick about your purchase. Online retailer Amazon is offering a pre-order deal for those who want to join the resistance early.

Talk about starting the year right: if you place your pre-order for Resistance: Retribution now (until January 12* only), Amazon will be sending you a download coupon for the early access demo.

They didn't indicate when the demo will be dropped, but they promise to deliver the download code before it goes live. Meanwhile, the game itself will be released on February 24 in the US.

* January 12: err, this is rather strange. I think this is a typo on Amazon's part. See, they actually listed "Jan 12, 2008," instead of what I assume should be 2009. What with the turning of the new year, some habits are still hard to clean out, eh?

Although I agree with your post, would you rather them do nothing at all?

All it says is "early access". Which implies that they'll release the demo to everyone eventually. I doubt the demo will stay exclusive to only people that preordered it.
