Over on the QJ.NET PSP Development forums, PSP homebrew developer a_noob has released version 1 of EffectsMB, a plugin that lets you customize the look of your PSP even further.
EffectsMB basically lets you choose from a bunch of psychedelic color effects for your PSP's XMB. Once you've installed the plugin, you can switch between effects via the left and right triggers. There are 31 effects in all. Here's a sample of the color effects you can achieve with EffectsMB: Download: EffectsMB v1 Visit: QJ.NET PSP Development forum Related articles: |

I still fail to see how these qualify as 'psychadelic'.

» The colours Duke, the colours!
A change of colours, or bright colours, hell, if you run a video filter through your graphics card and invert colours, those are psychedelic.

» How To Install
Installation:
1) Copy EffectsMB.prx from this folder to ms0:/seplugins.
2) Open VSH.txt and add this line to it ms0:/seplugins/EffectsMB.prx and save. (If you dont have
VSH.txt create one and put it in the folder ms0:/seplugins)
3) Disconnet PSP from Computer and completely SHUT OFF your psp.
4) Turn on PSP while holding R Trigger to boot into recovery mode.
5) Scroll to Plugins and click X
6) Scroll down onto EffectsMB and click X to enable it (Make sure that it says enabled)
7) Exit recovery mode.
Usage:
1) Follow Installation.
2) While in XMB use right and left triggers to toggle effects
(All the way to the left = No effect.)
It can't get any easier than this. I explains it with detail there is no other way. LOL :)

» No psychedelic please
Poster/Mod can you please rephrase this post. I do not intend for this plugin to synthesize Acid trips, or other influenced visions, but rather just Effects that can be applied to the XMB, hence the Name. Thank you.
Sincerely

» Füçking retarded
You must be on acid trips a lot to think the word psychedelic refers to being on a trip. That would mean museums are huge drug lords. Headaches can cause psychedelic experiences, OMG NATURAL ACID!

this is pointless, cxmb themes are way better than using this, and from the above comments it turns everything including pictures "psychedelic" which no one wants.
