F00 f00's controller mod sample screenshot - Image 1Several months ago, PSP mod meister F00 foo went retro on the portable by installing a classic SNES controller. And while the video he posted along with the news was fun to watch, it didn't really give too many ideas on how he managed to pull it off.

Now, in case you think you've got the skills, resources, and time to build your very own PSP controller mod, we've got good news. F00 f00 just dropped an email earlier to let the community know that he's declassified parts 1 and 2 of his doc oc thread. This Forums thread will provide other devs with detailed instructions and pictures on how the controller mod was built.

The thread should be available over at the read link - we thank F00 foo for informing us of this good news. With that said, we wish potential modder the best of luck!

Correct me if Im wrong, but from what I understand this will put a snes controller connected to your psp? Arent the PSP buttons in the exact same place as the SNES controller buttons, except star & select? Whats the point.

there are no step by step instructions, this is a very advanced modification and the information released is of all the needed connections in the PS2 controller and the PSP, and what each one is for, for advanced devs that should be all that's needed...
