Several months ago, PSP mod meister F00 foo went retro on the portable by installing a classic SNES controller. And while the video he posted along with the news was fun to watch, it didn't really give too many ideas on how he managed to pull it off.

Now, in case you think you've got the skills, resources, and time to build your very own PSP controller mod, we've got good news. F00 f00 just dropped an email earlier to let the community know that he's declassified parts 1 and 2 of his doc oc thread. This Forums thread will provide other devs with detailed instructions and pictures on how the controller mod was built.
