It's epic good vs. evil right here! See your favorite Final Fantasy matchups in this Dissidia: Final Fantasy scan from V Jump magazine, brought to us by the Final Fantasy Union. Heroes and villains from the first ten Final Fantasy titles are all here - see if you can recognize them.
Thanks to heiwa_ryu for pointing this out: for the FFIV representatives, that's Cecil up there, in his Dark Knight getup, while the bad guy across is Golbez. For FFX, that ought to be Jecht, minus all the Sin blubber. Anyway, the gang's all here, see if you can recognize them all. Related articles:

It'd be nice to see them all fighting at once like the dead fantasy.

Awesome! I wish I could get one. :) That'd be wicked cool for a collection plus it's a poster. ZOMFG!

No, the poster is right, that is Cecil, just in his Dark Knight form. And the villain is Golbez as well.
The Katakana confirms it as well. :)

» Can't read Japanese...lol
So that's Dark Knight Cecil, huh? Kinda looks like Kain holding a lance, though. Good to know that the bad guy on the other end is Golbez, since Zeromus has a 5-minute role in the game.
I'll edit accordingly, thanks.

» Lol, it's all good.
Thanks for posting the picture up, I'm just dying for more info on the game and am getting it once it comes out.
For those who are just wondering about the characters on the poster, I'll start from I-II-III...-X starting with the Villains and then the Heroes.
Villains:
Ga-rando (Garland), Koutei (Emperor), Kurayami no Kumo (Cloud of Darkness), Gorube-za (Golbez), Ekusudesu (Exdeath), Ke*****a (Cefca), Sefirosu (Sephiroth), Aruteimeshi (Ultimecia), Kujya (Kuja), Jyekuto (Jecht).
Heroes:
Uo-ria obu raito (Warrior of Light), Furioni-ru (Frionel), Onion Naito (Onion Knight), Seshiru (Cecil), Battsu (Butz), Tina, Kuraudo (Cloud), Suko-ru (Squall), Jitan (Zidane), Ti-da (Tidus).

» By the way,
I think Dark Knight Cecil is holding a lance as a tribute to Kain since he isn't in the game (as far as anyone knows yet anyways). I also read somewhere in Japan that Paladin Cecil holds a staff as a tribute to Rosa as well. Same with Frionel being equipped with 7 or so different weapons (a tribute to the other Final Fantasy 2 characters original artwork)
