FFT OPfficial site

UPDATE:
Remaining true to their word, Square Enix launched today the official site of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War. We have made the necessary updates to this article so go ahead and click on the read link below to check out the site.

Yeah, I'll admit it. I loved Final Fantasy Tactics. Just the thought of that extremely overpowered, Excalibur-wielding Thunder God kicking ass and taking names always makes me want to dig out my PS1 and play it again.

Well, all that's about to change soon. No, I don't mean that I'm going to start hating the game. What I mean is that instead of having to wade through old clothes and other stuff just to get to my PS1 and play FFT again for the umpteenth time, all I'll have to do is whip out my trusty PSP when Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War finally hits.

See, Square Enix is coming out with a PSP port of the original FFT, complete with new job classes and overhauled FMVs. Also, in order to make the game's upcoming release more "official", they've announced that the official website for The Lion War will be launched tomorrow. keep an eye out for that one, folks. I sure as hell will.

Oh, and just so we have something to look at while we wait for the site to launch, Square Enix also released a couple of images of the game. Check 'em out below.

My dreams are coming soon, guys get ready for this game. I can proudly say this will be the best psp game out in my opinion. Tactics is a long, fun, customizable, and good replay value rpg that is a legend and you all will see. for people who already know this, then you know how sweet this news is!

 » TACTICS ROCKS!

Being a major Square-Enix Fan and having played ALL the NA titles available from Square, Tactics was one of the Best games they ever made.....
and now its portable!

I swear, spending $300+ on the PSP has never made me feel prouder!

 » kool but

Sony should stop making so many ports with 'updated' features and make some new games... Seriously the best psp games are like the ones that are ported the best, kinda pissin me off. I rarely play psp on the go, to much loading and short battery life imo... its fun to play at home xD(avoids parents)

 » Disgaea vs FFT

For Tealwolf Disgaea is already out in Japan PSP version that is. I agree with that disgaeas system is alot better and faster tho FFT has better story and is alot more serious.

Never got to play the original. I played FFTA, though I never felt the story really went anywhere. And i also heard that FFT is WAY better than FFTA, so i cant wait.

Have fun with your port. I'll be rocking out to DQIX on my DS, along with all the other games they'll be putting on the DS as well ^^

 » well

this is cool and all but maby sony should make an ... o God forgive me ... original psp game, i awknolage that this is a good sign that good games will be coming out if this game does well i think that sony cant just keep making sequals to everything that ever made them a dime they should come out with somthing that has never been done or atleast a version of a game never been made (by this i mean an original FF mabey ff13 or somthing) the psp is an awsome handheld system the best arround if you ask me but sony needs to hire some good wrighters and it will go far

I'd rather see a Vagrant Story port

» They should give us some new stuff.

Yeah, right. They should have remade it. I don't know what they're putting on it, but if there's no multiplay and no new races (bangaa and viera) I'm gonna be pretty much pissed.

I've been dying for some FFT-action on the PS2 during all those years, just to hear they're gonna port the PSP version and leave the Revenant Wings to the DS. Anyone else felt left aside?

 » The SITE

So, what`s the FFT:Lion War site`s url ???? Nothing about it on both EU + US SquareEnix Sites. Kinda lame sayin` it`s open + not giving us the url.
