I rememeber sometime back tt was a article abt WIFI support for the NeoGeo emu...wat happen to it? anyone know?
I really do appreciate everything he has done and I never imagined CPS2 and Neo-Geo games running so smooth but he created a very nice emulator that could have spawned a few other XXXpsp emulators such as CAVE, Psikyo, Toeplan all of which use similar processor and sound chips. Im sure it would not have taken NJ long at all to import those systems into his emulator to create CavePSP, PsikyoPSP, etc similar to how MVS, CPS1 and 2 are created from source. He uses mame source for a lot of his work and he is the only person that could have pulled this off. If someone knows how to contact NJ, ask him if he has looked into doing something like this.

NJ's emulators are great pieces of work. I can finally take some arcade games on the go without buying those collections. He will truely be missed in the PSP scene. As to NeoCover, NJ's emulators are closely similar to MAME, so I think coming up with emulators for those SHUMPS games shouldn't be that hard. Though, most of the Psikyo shooters on MAME are not 100% perfert, just some flaws here and there but they are very playable. As for CAVE games, anything after Progear (a CPS2 game but was combined effort between CAVE and Capcom) has not been emulated yet. Most of the newer CAVE games uses a different from 2002 on uses different PCB boards which has not been emulated yet. The PSP with its screen is perfect to play vertical shooters if it was turn vertically but sadly it will be very odd to play games with buttons on top and bottom of the screen.
both MAME and Final Burn Alpha support Atlus/CAVE games. Several of the games come from 1998-99. Here is a brief list of possible games that could be imported to NJ's emulator source:

the list isn't long but some of those games are great shooters. When shooters were shooters and not Halo.

NJ is a programming pimp! Someone just needs to get this program hooked up with netplay or something. A little chat client and play people over the infrastructure would be sweet! Doesn't anyone want to pimp back the American/E.U. Fighting scene?? PLEASE, support this great work by making it even better!

please can someone help me out. I'm not a noob or anything but ive been having trouble working this emulator. I have read the game list on which mame will work properly but i have a problem executing the game. It keeps giving me a prompt that says dont bother it wont work properly. I can't seem to get it to work. If someone would please help me out with a tutorial on how to use this emulator i would REALLY APPRECIATE IT.. or email it to me at nyballerkz@tmail.com I really appreciate your help .. from one psp 1.5 owner to the next thank you..
=dude you gotta convert the zip so that you get a cache file, remember this----
this works with all cps1/cp2/and neo geo games
for this guys emus only.
first-
make sure to copy over both emu files to the game folder (psp/game/cps2 and psp/game/cps2%)
create a roms folder
(psp/game/cps2/roms)
and put the rom in there.
make a cache folder in the cps2 folder and copy the created file into the cache folder.
(psp/game/cps2emu/cache).
the cache file that is created will show up in the cache folder in the convert folder.

The cache file, after being converted, itself is more than the actual rom file size. That's a lot of space we're talking about for neogeo games here, games like kof, mslug.
That would be freakin' awesome! Of course, after all the games and anime soundtracks, my 2gb's almost full...

I have a question; if anyone can help. Im trying to run the higher end games like SS V special and it keeps crashing for some reason. I followed all of the instructions and it just doesnt seem to work. Can anyone help me please?
