Agent 007, minus the P99 - Image 1 When you see Pierce Brosnan on the homebrew apps section, it can only mean one thing: Flash Agent's in the house. Brew meister hallo007 has just announced Flash Agent is now up to revision E status, which should fix some of the bugs found in revision D4.

The dev's also "found the offset for manual hacks and decided to port version E to firmware 3.10 OE-A". And that's really good news for all of us. hallo007 is happy to report that the app works fine with 3.10, although online manual hacks don't work, and pushing instruction manual in xmb will crash the unit (ouch). Here's the changelog:

  • Fixed info dump menu.
  • Added firmware hacks menu.
  • Debranded gameboot.
  • Redirect gameboot path.
  • Recover gameboot functions.
  • Added online manual hacks menu.
  • Change site to psp-media.nl or pspupdates.com or pspupdates.com/pda or.
  • Battery needs to be 20% now (instead of 50).
  • If you are in menu and battery gets under 20% without adopter you will exit.
  • Battery level will change now.
  • Added information about files (beta , nothing special at the moment).
  • Fixed display (no flipping anymore).
  • (bug fixed)you can now change your option (flash or go back).
  • If memory stick gets full while dumping you will exit.
The additional changelog after version E was ported to fw 3.10 OE-A:
  • topmenu_plugin.rco is disabled, you cannot flash it anymore
  • made manual hacks ready for 3.10OE-A
Given just how tricky this app is even for the vets (so be really careful - bricks are always a possibility), make sure you view the README in the bundle, as well as the discussion link enclosed below. Speaking of updates, we're wondering if a change from Brosnan to Craig is in order...

Kudos to hallo007 for this fine work!

 » brick

this bricked my psp when i upgraded to 3.10 oe-a and tried to flash the topmenu plugin but the worst part is that i used the recovery flasher to get back on 1.5. When i tried to upgrade back to 3.10 oe-a it saip jpn0 was missing , which was the file removed by flash agent in that hack where you can save 2.5 mb on your flash0. So i figured i would run flash agent and replace the missing jpn0 but when i tried to i bricked my psp permanately. Just a warning about the hack that saves space on flash0, it might end up to be bad.

so this DIDNT brick your psp then since you cant change topmenu plugin on this firmware and it is disabled on this version of flash agant

and the japan font is just dummied with a standard font which is only about 60kb

perhaps you should wait to mod your psp after upgrading to another firmware until programs like this come out that are specifically designed for the firmware mentioned

» sos! can anyone help me?

Hey all Im in a spot of bother with my psp, I had recently upgraded to 3.10oe-a and was exploring what tweak. I tried to place a topmenu_plugin via recovery, yea I know now MISTAKE. now I think my psp is semi bricked. Im new to this recovery programme and I dont know how to set the psp back to another firmware. I see some people have had the same problem and fixed it. Im sure there is a real simple and easy answer and i dont wanna waste peoples time but if anyone could give me some direction as to how that would be great.Thanx
