It's been a couple months since we last heard from the developers of Formula One 2006 for the PSP. Now some screenshots have just emerged, and we're posting all of them here for you to enjoy.

If the info we have about the game holds true until now, Formula One 2006 will allow PS2 and PSP gamers to play against each other in the 18-race season of the game via the internet. A total of 18 gamers will be able to play the game simultaneously. The game is set to be released July 28.

Feast your eyes on the newest screenshots of SCEE's Formula One 2006.

hm..the previous F1 game doesn't have a very impressive physics system. I hope this one gets only better!

 » Woohoo!

Hell yeah! I'm SO looking forward to this game! The first game was waaaaaay to easy, but fun! It's going to be released the 28th.

I hope to god they allow you to have full races this time. I love F1 and the games, but I really want to be able to do like 72 laps and 68 laps on the tracks. Not bloody 5 mins doing 3 laps! That's where the last game sucked BIG.

Also, I hope this one has a half decent damage engine this time. F197 on PSone had damage, surely this one can have some...

Nice, i miss some good F1 game. First game lacks of good physics, and gameplay was quite poor.

Hope, things are now different and i will spent some time during summer in Renault bolid :).

 » Cool...

This looks like a major improvement on the last few F1 games, they have generally sucked over the last few years, but this definitely looks better. I want to see realistic crashes like in Toca Race Driver 3 on PC and hopefully more random incidents like CPU players having accidents and maybe tyre blow outs, engine explosions (especially for Honda). The safety car is unlikely im guessing... maybe next time

 » I can't wait for this!

I enjoyed playing F105 for the PS2. I'm not sure if the PS2 version will officially come stateside, but either way one could always import a European version.

i have been playing the game for the past 4 days its good only complaint about it it has no wifi VS mode with another psp player :( not like before i could play with my brother now i cant. there is no option... BUT the career mode is good! really good. Graphic wise last year was better i think but over all this beats out last yrs F1 game

 » good game

Overall its a good game. Not as easy to play as 05. Seems a little more realistic. Pits stops are more realistic. Weekend Grand Prix mode is nice. You can qualify and start somewhere other than the back row. Graphics are good too. You have many set up options for the car now.
