Guys, it's official! The PSM guys dig homebrew too! vettefan from our forums, and more importantly, the maker of Pimp My Garage has just informed us about an article in the latest edition of PSM - PlayStation Magazine. Here's a scan of that page. It talks about the GTA Cheat Device by Edison Carter, plus more goodies like PMG by vettefan and AdePSP, and CheatSync by AdePSP. There's a lot of info for people who've never touched homebrew. Plus, they even try to discourage their readers from updating to the new 2.7 firmware! |

dis is coo. its nice to see that homebrew is getting the widespread noteriety it deserves. Apps like PSP kick, and Monkey's Emu have graced the pages of mags like Gamepro and thats pretty coo. Beleive it or not a spread in Gamepro is what convinced me to run homebrew/emulators on my PSP

In truth, if a game company really wanted a game to sell they could make a decent exploit in it on purpose. I'm sure homebrew helped GTA LC to be the top selling game for the PSP.

It describes:
Doom PSP
DC Pang
Vector Infector
Kill Everything that moves
Beats of Rage
Duke Nukem 3d
Jazz Jackrabbit
Penguin Scramble
Bombjack 1.0
And a guide on how to install the Spectrum Emu.
I think thats quite alot of recognition, dont you?

This stuff messes with me. Guys, the more public these things go, the more sony takes us down. I can guarantee that $ony searches these forums and frontpage on a more than daily basis. That is where the homebrew dies down, is when its gone very public. Sony hates choices. Every company does. Companies generally want it their way, and we have to accept that. Well thats my 2 cents.
