Phil Collins' 1980's hit song, In the Air Tonight, has been a subject of a lot of urban legends. The most common version says that Phil actually saw a man drowning but was too far away to save him, he also saw a man nearby who could have done something but didn't save him. There were a lot of twists to that urban legend, but basically it tries to convey the saying "evil triumph because good men do nothing."

Why the sudden trip down memory lane? Well, Rockstar Games has updated their Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories website and has added the third trailer for the game featuring Phil Collins on drums singing the said song. The song has this 1980s feel plus it has a great background story so we get why Rockstar made use of it.

In this vid titled "In So Deep", we see Vic Vance looking for a job and getting entangled in the dark world of illegal trade, drugs, and crime. In a few days, we could finally get our hands on the game, but for now here's the vid. You could also download it, just for kicks.

They probably picked this song as a postmodern reference to Miami Vice. It was used for a pretty memoriable scene in the series first episode and marked the beginning of featuring soundtracks by "real" artists in tv series, instead of the specially composed crap. Networks normally never did that since they had to pay for the rights, but Mann was provided with a special budget to make it all happen.

Holy crap. This is just amazing.
I hope there's a way to run the UMD with devhook. I don't want to lose my homebrews, but Rockstar DESERVES my money.

That was the stupidest trailer I've ever seen. There were about 4 gameplay clips and that's about it, the rest was spotlighted on that stupid drummer.

Phil Collins is great...The reason they picked that song is because the title of that song is "In Too Deep" and the title of the video is "In So Deep" And the reasons QJ pointed out.
