GTK PopstationHere's a heads up for you Popstation users out there. GTK PopStation, the latest product of LiraNuna's coding skills, has just been released in the QJ forums.

This is LiraNuna's first ever GUI app made for GNU/Linux, made due to the absence of non-Windows GUIs for the Popstation converter. Here's what he has to say about it:

After being frustrated of all the Win32 GUIs out there, I was thinking of coding my own Linux one. GTK PopStation is based on the original popstation sources and the GIMP Tool Kit (GTK).

Be aware that using libgtk-2.0.dll and compiling using x86 w32 gcc, there is a high chance of running it on w32 platforms (Similer to the w32 xchat compilation of silvertear).

There is no readme as I think the program is obvious to use.

Been waiting for this! Works perfect on Ubuntu Edgy! Thanks man!

 » 2 things

1) The base.pbp is probably a clean one I saw on maxconsole's forums.

2) Are you able to set your own icons with this frontend? If not, I don't see much compelling me to use it, the command line popstation is pretty straight forward and easy as it is, plus I make scripts with it for batch conversions.

 » small question

how would you play a game that has multiple cds, for ex. heart of darkness.

   Re: simple (Unregistered) - 2007-01-09
 » simple

easy really
1. most games give you a save option at the end of the disc, load this on the second disc
2. make sure you give both disc eboot files the same *blacode* (meaning: SCUS00958 for example, be sure both discs ahve the same code (can be added while converting))
so that they will use the same memory card files ::)
