Gamestop returns US$ 4.99 UMD movie offer - Image 1

Back in March 2007, retail chain Gamestop ran a rather excellent deal that allowed PlayStation Portable owners purchased UMD movies for just US$ 4.99 each. We just got word that the retail chain has returned the offer and the selection is as varied as before.

This deal, we believe, is more interesting and more enjoyable now than before because of the PlayStation Portable Slim & Lite. With the new handheld's ability for TV output at full DVD resolution, US$ 5 for a movie is really a good catch.

A few worth mentioning choices include Hellboy, Underworld, and Final Fantasy: Advent Children. We are quite uncertain how long this offer will last so it would be wise to go to your local Gamestop or place an online order as soon as possible.
