lol well its 266 pspupdates! oh and you have to have th ewlan switch down to work too that was my problem earlier.
all u need is to change cpu speed to 266mhz or higher...
i agree with you "td" just power up in recovery mode, adjust iso clock to 266, and also if you have cwcheat plugin, just disable it coz it changes the clock to 222.
Oh man, now the completely bogus settings by gunntims even invade QJ ...
Yes, everything works perfectly with DevHook but if you don't need infrastructure then just set 3.10 OE-A to 266 MHz (and not 333 MHz which kills background music)
but asa stupid as it sounds i tried removing my memory card before booting up the game while it was on the default speed and it came up a lil slow but still came up nontheless.
All i had to do is raise the clock speed thats all i still have all my plugins and everything is fine... but yes the online doesnt work for me on 3.03 oec thats all.
Same here.
None of that other crap is needed, and yes it works fine at 333 MHz, but there's no music.
266 is the correct setting, NOT 333.
you need to run at 266mhz and disable plugins which use GAME then it works for me on 3.03oe-c
Must only be certain plugins that mess that up.
I have cheatmaster enabled, and it's working perfectly.
yes, 266 not 333 3.10 oe-a
thats
ps3news already had this info for a while
I am currently using 3.10 OE-A' and I had the same problem with this game. I had even set the CPU clock to 266 , 300, and 333 MHz. Still a no-go :( Then I disabled all my plugins at 266 MHz. Bingo.. it worked. Then I enabled these plugins...
SVC Capture (GAME & POPS & VSH)
CheatMaster.prx (GAME & POPS)
CWCHEAT (GAME & POPS)
Didnt work. I disabled CWCHEAT for GAME... Surprisingly, it worked. I havent tested with any other plugins besides these. If anyone finds any others that are incompatible, please comment. :)
idk why but i tried it all, with no success on 3.10oe-a'
there is a black screen after the gameboot and it doesn't load!
I just tried to lay out exactly what my settings were as to help out other users. I hear messing with the clock speed should help other users who have difficulty with my configuration.
1. so, with this configuration, does ingame music work?
2. if you dont use this configuration and you:
-start with 266
-have the cwcheat game plugin enabled
-open the cwcheat from ingame
-change the cpu speed?
-after you change the cpu speed to 333 and bus to max, will the settings take effect?
cause i opened the cwcheat menu after i did that and at the bottom of the menu it said the cpu was at the 266 level, im pretty sure. maybe its wrong?
Mine worked from the beginning, I used cwcheat set to use 266mhz by default, ran it no-umd.
If you use the recovery menu to set clockspeed , it locks it in. If you just use a plugin, like cwcheat, you can clock up to 333mhz in game and still have music. The game works fine single player, which is all that matters to me :)
ok cool, thanks
3.10-OE-A, 333 mghz, Dark_Alex's POPS Loader Plugin is Enabled, (No-UMD: Disabled); (Fake Region: Disabled); (Free UMD-Region: Disabled), several custom firmware mods...
i'm using the game as compressed iso ( .cso ).
the game has worked ever since I obtained it. don't know why everyone else is having problems...
Everyone else is having problems because most people are running games at 222 by default.
This game works perfect for me on the OE except the ADHOC and Infrastructure modes. I pretty much just left my RECOVERY options alone from the start....
wouldnt this be ISO support???? i think that it would be.... and on QJ??? ahhhh *gasp*!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually no it wouldn't, the UMD doesn't even work without these settings, so this is all within the law.
You shouldn't jump to conclusions ??. I was going to ask if there is any difference between ISO/CSO/UMD. Not assume people are just running ISO's.
I have a pretty much fresh 3.10 A' install on my PSP How do I get the game to work on either UMD or ISO? I don't quite understand how to make the setting changes that is being refered to. Yes, I'm a noob, is if someone could put in a simple form for those of us that have no prior experience with such changes, it would be greatly helped.
to make the changes you need to access OE recovery menu. Shut off your psp(hold power button 4 seconds) then turn it back on and hold "R" trigger button. From here you can make all the changes needed.
Thank you Sparky, I got the UMD version to work. Now, how do I get the ISO version to work. That way I can conserve battery power and not run the UMD drive.
I got this game working and I have tried Infrastructer but it does not work. I then loaded it with with devhook and still infrastructer didn't work.
Im on 3.10 oe-a' and ALL i had to do was use 266mhz. keep all plugins and all other settings like the no UMD thing the same. works perfect. can use all my plugins no issue. thats how i hacked the crap outa the game and enabled everything and released the codes for cheatmaster/cwcheat lmao.
im on 3.10 oe-a' and all i did was download devhook...
What version of DevHook did you DL, and where did you get it from?
1. go to torrent site
2.get chaos zero devhook .52 ultimate installer (if there is one)
Theres a v0.6 installer now on your local torrent site.
Me works on 3.10 OE-A' with default settings except that i've set the clock to 266MHz. BUT infrastructure doesn't work. How to make it work?
The article earlier was rather confusing, since it said it doesn't work at all on custom firmware. Luckily with the right settings it works like a charm.
think DA will be working on a new revision to 3.10 OE-A' to correct this issue??? I would bet on it
enable no-umd (which i usually have disabled)
set the system to run at 266mhz in game
strange i know - but it works.
3.10oe-a' here btw.
This is RATCHET AND CLANK...FREE GAME, ISO, HERE! http://www.mininova.org/tor/584102
Has anyone figured out how to make infrastructure work? I've tried Devhook (using cpu 266mhz), the game runs fine but wireless doesn't work. Please help!
On devhook it hangs on the EULA screen for me, bah.
Right it works on Devhook fw 2.71 My mate is on 2.71 SEB dont ask....But none the less the game works Perfectly....the game updates on it is 2.82 but it works like a charm on 2.71 SE-b Everything works Sound Online Cutscenes....wat speed does 2.71 SE-b run by? on default?
i no this is nothing to do with this but is ther a way to play your own music in the background thanks 4 any help
yes there is. don't lie!! :D get the irsmp3 plugin for 2.71 SE and just put it in the plugins folder. i must warn you though....the later version has a cpu clock changer and that's what was causing the game to not work for me. so search mp3 on the download section and try an older version. :D have fun dude.
ingame music is damn awesome, actually
Nah there isint i thought it would be awsome too if u could....like the Xbox 360....but nah mayb in a later Firmware only game i know that does that is GTA LCS and VCS
thanks any ways
I use 1.5 kernel, it works fine
The background music only plays if the CPU is set to 266, anything higher and you get only game sounds, no music.
