That looks awsome. I want that. "REQUEST". I would rather buy the whole UMD slot. Instead of having to do it all from scratch. Nicely done.

this is cool.. but i would like to have a see throught circle.. to see the UMD Spin and *****.... this is nice.. =0
piece of cake. Now, the xbox jewel in the umd door is a challenge, this is just another day at the job ;)
The xbox jewel is easy. All you have to do is cut out a circle big enough to fit the jewel in and glue it. Thats it. This is talent. I give mad props for this.
no how-to? it's gotta be a photoshop job.
you are a *****nig idiot, and I hope you commit suicide.
This is easy to do. take off the cover. Put in 4 LED's
Put the cover back. Enjoy.
Even tho I would never attempt it I was hoping to see a how-to. But oh well nevertheless awesome job!
Are u my brother?
clear WOULD be cooler. but yeah, thats rad.
thats just amazing. Personally the only hardmod I've doen to my psp is the faceplate :. I'd want to get a backplate, but I can't find a guide on it, and if I knew someone, send it to them to add some shoulder button LEDS :)
Btw, does it reduce the battery life? Or is it like the shoulder buttons where it's not that noticable?
Keep up the great work and good luck :D.
The LEDS probably wont take much power, just twice amount of the shoulder buttons, because, its just 4 LEDS instead of two
Consider this a request, I don't mind the difficulty. That is just too godly of a symbol to pass up. Forget a Golden PSP, I want a Ring of Light PSP.
mod
ever
just take off the silver ring, if theres no hole cut one, put in a clear circle and some little leds and run some wire to the battery. piece of cake. itll just give you less battery life but im willing to pay that price.
^^you want the lights on all the time draining your life even when you arent playing? n8b...
Request. This is by far the coolest mod that isnt intrusive when ur playing a game like the shoulder led's. I would love having this pimp light on my psp but fear of brick keeps be at bay, although if a how-to comes out,i might just give it a go. Props.
im not sure you could brick you psp from led modding
"im not sure you could brick you psp from led modding"
You can if you solder something your not meant to causing your PSP to not be able to run... E.G: bricking.
Whats the - and + on the battery?
positive and negative terminals on the battery
Wow! If these pictures are actually real, this mod would go perfect with the shoulder button mod.
Yes you are.
*requests*
Can somebody also link to how to do the xbox jewel mod?
why the hell would u want to use your psp as a TORCH!? lets waste gameplay time for the running of a blue lead which you dont even look @ !
you wont notice any difference
win
Wouldn't this run your battery out faster? It may look nice, but you'd have to keep the PSP plugged in the charger 24/7 :(
guys it is LED. it wont run out at all. if u use one cell battery (the small tiny ones) it will last for a year even with sounds and motors. i used to have a neopets thing and it ran for a year and still runnin.
I one got this thing from a car dealership it was a button u stick on your shirt anyways it had 1 red led light that flashes and 1 cel battery to power it let me tell you I got this button well over 5 years ago and it still works.
How To Do This On My PSP??
This is one hell of a surefire way to make your psp stand out. I give it a full ***** stars for blingage. I would definately love to do this to my psp but I shake like a leaf in the wind and soldering isn't exactly my forte. However, if you were to take orders for sending the psp umd door and some money ($40?) I would gladly give you the bragging rights for another ring of light PSP.
Bravo!
Post the how-to dawg. It is up to me if I want to risk bricking my PSP, and you shouldn't be attempting this anyway unless you have money to buy PSP's for trial and error. I could just do it, but you already have a functional one so I would rather use your schematic.
WhhHHHY!!
Battery wasting ;D
i have to admit, i think that look brilliant with like a white psp or he silver psp with diffrent colored lights
Great job Man!!! I've been trying to do this myself for a while and found some free modding tutorials @ acidmods.com you can also purchase jewels there. There currently revamping the site but I saw some really tricked PSP's a couple of days ago.
people...please listen
an LED is a very small light and uses a very small voltage
so it woundnt run down your battery much at all.....not to a physically noticable extent anyway
thanks
Could you please send me instructions on how to do this. I think its really cool.
