Linkens Quest

How much did you enjoy playing with Zion's Legend of Hyrule: Linkens Quest v1.0 when it came out last month? Double that, and that's how much you'll enjoy v2.0. How about, how much you can't believe it's coded in LUA? Double that as well and add boisterous shouts of "LUA Represent!" everytime your character moves an inch, and that's how much you'll be in awe this time around.

Changelog:
  • New Chat/Conversation window
  • Cutscenes/story is in
  • Attacking Animation
  • Enemies With Ai
  • Ability to kill a enemy and be Killed by a enemy yourself
  • Rupees
  • Ability to Purchase things from the shop
  • Dungeon level added
  • Fully Functional Menu
  • More Sound Effects
  • Animals
  • Townspeople with Ai
  • Object Collision

As you can imagine a project like this needs a skillful crew. Zion extends his warmest thanks to PSPDemon for the amazing graphics, Soulkiller for providing the dramatic fade during the storyline's presentation, wolfpack for the sprites and sounds, RPG Maker for the additional sprites, and what would developers be without devoted Beta testers? Our hats off to Videofreak and Malkster.

 » Simple Question

So I'm running FW 1.5 and I see this title here. Looks interesting, but I've never dealt with this LUA stuff before. How do I run this on the PSP? Can anyone provide some (hopefully simple) instructions to guide me along here?

   by Zion - 2006-09-17

its just the same as loading any hombrew, just put the folders on your memory stick in this directory : psp/game

the sprites should match....zelda sprite is so much bigger than link's,and that green haired malon just feels out of place...other than that is is beautyful

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the watermarking of screencaps that this site obtained on their own.

(Watch out, the DCEmu Police are on patrol again... *sigh*)

If you want to play it on 2.6 it works with GTA elaoder, just put the file WITHOUT the " % " in the game folder

It's lame to steal sprites, it's not even legal.

@ 26, who gives a damn? It's a great game and it's homebrew anyway, is it legal to run any homebrew at all then?

Great game Zion, but I would advise you to check your text from the intro. I have seen some spelling errors - like "haapening" .
