Go! Sudoku includes a bunch of challenging Sudoku puzzles that aren't currently on the rise worldwide. For those of you who aren't familiar, Sudoku is a puzzle game in which you need to assign numbers to the 81 grids. The goal of the game is to fill up every square, row, and column with the numbers one through nine without any overlapping. If you're lucky enough you can find these puzzles in your local newspaper, but for the rest of us there's a digital PSP version.

Although it isn't groundbreaking and is basically the same game that anybody without a PSP can play, it has enough bonus features to make it a worthy purchase for puzzle addicts. With bonuses such as wireless multiplayer options along with an upbeat musical and graphical presentation, this game still has plenty of value over it's 1,000 include challenges. Combine that with downloadable puzzle packs and you've got a game that will last you a while. Basically, if you just can't get enough of Sudoku puzzles then this is for you, but don't expect Go! Sudoku to offer anything innovative.

I guess I'm not the only one who isn't a big fan of Sudoku puzzles :P

It seems like they just prettied up a collection of puzzles and slapped a price tag on them. Personally I would never buy this game because I can just play in the paper or some cheap book, but I guess if you LOVE sudoku then you might like it.

There's a couple homebrew versions of this game out there, one even looks nicer than this one.

A revival portal of 3.0 ( something like that ) has been released , it says it has everything that 3.0 will include and is like 3.0 but not the update , just something that somebody from sonymade to show how will the update be ( that's what it says in the message boards of sony where I found it ) but since it's not exactly the update it takes 40 something mb of the memory stick.

Here read it from sony message boards.

 » It isn't bad.

If you dont like Soduko then don't bother with it. No need to be an idiot and say its is full of crap. The homebrew version is ok but this looks better than it. I dont know what people are on about. The only this different with is that you cant put custom mp3s like the homebrew version. They play the same but this comes with more puzzles.

My girlfriend is totally addicted to this and plays it on the train everyday. She is not interested in playing anything else. I can see the appeal but its does not do enough for me. Those of you who bag it, just remeber that many 10's of thousands of people enjoy playing Soduko. They probably dont see the appeal of GTA but I doubt they would ridicule you for playing it either.
When you grow up you will realise that there are many types of people out there who have different tastes.

And the comment about prefering to play it on paper - try the PSP version and I reckon you will change your mind...

I think its constructive to have a good variation in the types of games on the PSP.

» its also on the DS

I would imagine its more fun and cheaper with the DS version since its cheaper and with the touch screen and all it will make things run smoothly

 » Waiting for price drop

I play Sudoku on paper (websudoku.com has an excellent site). I find the hardest level of puzzles are very challenging and require me to actually use my brain as opposed to turning it off so that I can kill people (i.e. GTA).

Anyway, I'll wait until the price gets down to $20 before picking it up. ITM, I just bought Lumines and am having fun with that.
