It's been a while since we last heard about Namco Bandai's God Eater. If you know Japanese (or have enough trust in your ability to navigate a menu without understanding a thing about it), you'll get to do more than hear (or read) about it soon. You can get to play the demo.

The TGS may be over but there are still some gameplay footage coming out from the said event. Today we have the uber-awesome footage for Namco Bandai's God Eater.

I gotta admit, seeing more and more of God Eater has overturned my initial skepticism. I want this game now. There's some bad news, though: the game has been bumped off of its original Fall 2009 Japanese release date.

If you thought Namco Bandai's upcoming action-RPG game God Eater is just another Monster Hunter clone, you got another thing coming. Recently, the games official Japanese site got a huge update showing some brand new gameplay footage of the game. So enough with the screenshots, brand new videos after the link.

Over in Japan, Namco Bandai is continuing to build hype and anticipation for the PSP title God Eater, which is slated to be released there in the fall. As part of the hype train, they've revealed more details about the game to Famitsu.

For the third batch of this God Eater wave courtesy of Famitsu, let's take a look at the sceneries where all the actions are bound to take place. You can spot cities destroyed, abound with buildings adorned with gaping holes. There's also one by the bay, as well as in some plant-looking facility, and fields that you definitely wouldn't want to find yourself alone in. In short, action's gonna be wherever  you are. Everywhere.

Warning: there's an incoming wave of screenshots for Namco Bandai's upcoming RPG on the PSP, God Eater, and by "wave" we actually mean a tsunami. This here is the first batch of the screenshots, focusing on the game's general gameplay. It also includes a couple of them for character customization. Famitsu sure was on a roll with this one.

Namco Bandai has let loose an impressive salvo of details regarding their upcoming action-RPG for the PSP, God Eater. Lots of info here about the Aragami, the weapons at your disposal, and the hunters that accompany you into battle. Too bad there's no word yet on a US release. Yes, it bears more than a passing resemblance to the Monster Hunter games, but it looks like Namco Bandai's God Eater is more than a mere clone for the popular Capcom franchise. It also has shades of Devil May Cry thrown in, so it actually takes from two Capcom franchises!

Still, the game actually looks pretty awesome as I said in my previous God Eater post. That's just reinforced by this new promo vid.
