GameVideos recently put up a rather intriguing analysis of the differences one can pick up from running a game at 333 MHz. Specifically, they called on Ready at Dawn Studios to help them by analyzing the differences between God of War: Chains of Olympus running at 222 MHz and at 333 MHz.

In general, Ready at Dawn noted differences in the overall quality of the game, and that's not just the additional work they've put into the game talking. Apparently, pushing the PSP to 333Mhz allowed the devs to add more people on screen, make more impressive explosions, and bring in more blood! Sweet!

In any case, you can view the video below for the skinny of the basic differences. You might be surprised by the new things they've been able to do as a result of the lifting of the restrictions. Enjoy!

 » ok,

The only real difference that I saw was at the end with the explosions in the sand. Now there, it does look much better at 333MHz. Cool, so when's the release date?

it's nothing to do with the connection, it happens all the time with videos from gamevideos.com you dumb*****! it will be alright if you wait for it to load up but who wants to wait for that?????

Well, you seem to be the idiot. If you would have looked down, you would have seen I changed my mind on the matter. Gamevideos.com sucks. Might as well use Youtube, at least they don't let you down.

I take back what i said. Gametrailers has the worst video player ever. All it does is lag horribly. The video keeps stopping, it skips randomly, and has a framerate of 3FPS.

» Yeah the video isn't great

Im not talking about god of War just this video was slow and lagging the gameplay could keep up with the interview and just not good.

But yeah this game is sick i definitely see the improvements with the 333MHz to the 222MHz.
