Not at all, with 3.02B the game runs perfectly. I'm just past Costa Del Sol and I haven't found one error yet, and it changes screens faster than the PS1 and PS2 (probaly due to it being on the memory stick as opposed to a disc)
I may be going mad but I see Zack and Sephiroth in two of the charecters. Maybe them when they were young.

I wasn't looking forward to this game much (the other FFVII Compilation games/movies haven't been overly fantastic). But aftre hearing what IGN had to say about the demo, I must admit, I'm quite excited now. They said it's shaping up to be the best PSP game yet, and that it looks like it could save the Compilation from getting any worse.
I'm very excited about this game now.
