exactly what does this do?
It runs the HenC thing after a hardboot.
nice job ookm!
This program is awsome, it auto runs hen so if you have to hard-boot your psp, you wont have to go threw the hasle of going to photo and exicuting it... thanks Ookm, and remeber, I never hated, keep up the good stuff
Going to the photo to run henc aint a big deal. So far a lot of people have had probs with this, but I bet most of them didn't even read the readme.
-Great job 0oKm, thx
they are "too smart" to read it... as stated by some of themselves...
Nice One 0okm ;)
Hope the good feedback from this convinces him to release his Downgrader.
does this work without a hitch on ta-082 mobos and I was also wonder how this has potential to brick your psp it doesnt mess with the flash i wouldnt believe, so what then?
dialatone, I dont think you can run hen-c on a ta 82 so this def wouldn't work. Also yes it does write to flash because it a flashes a prx temporarily into the menu.
wrong Henc works fine on ta-82 I have a 2.71 ta-82 (and a classic 1.5). both can run everything.
I was planning on making something that did something similar to this. Only instead of this method, mine would set the custom tiff image as the wallpaper, then a custom rev c of his firmware would redirect all reads and writes to another file after patching the memory. I mat still go ahead with it, but i see no point now.
this fking thing bricked my PSP!!!
whats up with the adam from evangelion plate?
cuz they cool like that
Glad your back mate, nice work! :P
This is great because one of my psp's is a TA-082 and I was kind of getting tired of going to the Photo menu to apply the Hen, now it does it automatically when I start up my PSP. Good Job! Thank you so much 0okm and welcome back!
I would recommend applying the fonthack before installing this, in case you have any problems.
Then you ought to be able to unbrick your PSP by just removing the memory stick.
I've seen a few problems with similar techniques, where they just stopped working - at which point, I'd have had a brick without fonthack or Undiluted Platinum.

-thx again
my psp go black after this green lite but doesnt enter screen HELP
you got a brick buddy ;)
o that made made me feel sad +'( lol
yo u shudnt laugh at other people's suffering. remember what goes around comes around. one day ull end up bricked...ifffff u have a psp that is...!!!
Ookm, you're stil a whiny crybaby. ;)
Don't "lol" after someone bricks. Karma gunna get ya.
It freez my XMB at launch, but I can play UMD because it starts before it...
Any idea how to fix IT???
just don't erase the program from your memory card as the files are needed to run HenC everytime your psp boots. if you deleted them re-write them using any other PSP or a memory card reader on any computer. note: do this to any memory card you are planning to use on your PSP. Please tell me if it fixed your problem ;)
wot is hen c and wot does hen c do? thankz
Well Done
0okm is there any ability to unbrick PSP when it freez at loading...
And could you make fixer to youse it with e`loader??
So it would be posseble to unbrick with youse of GTA
hi shadow, i got the same problem, it boots a umd but xmb freezes. i wish i'd read fanjita's wisdom prior to install.. is there any hope? surely if it's accessing the ms we can do something...?
wtf does this crap do
It lets you not have to go to the Tif Image File every time you boot up your psp to access kernel memory. Instead it doe it automaticaly when you boot up your psp so you can boot stuff straight from the XMB.
g......
Take fanjita's advice and install fonthack before using this mod. Fonthack involves hex editing something, so you may want to download the trial of hex workshop. Do a search on google for Fontmod and it should come up with the PSP info on it. It just basically allows you to change the font of your PSP, by making it redirect the font file to a font file on your memory stick.
So, if this thing suddenly starts crashing on bootup, you can pull your memory stick out and it'll say your font file is corrupt and replace your font file with a clean one while wiping your wallpaper clean so this auto-boot is no longer in the background.
Safest thing to do, only takes a couple minutes, and you can get a cooler font for your PSP if you feel like it. The hex edits are pretty easy too, simply replacing the location of a font file to a different location. Remember to read the readme's that come with fontmod.
Good work 0okm, after what happened a couple weeks ago I'm glad to see you didn't let it affect you.
Agreed. good job 0okm!
i dont use the DAX custom firmware, but this is pretty cool for those who do
I should have known not to trust a app from him this reboots no matter what... which screws up trying load a iso with dev hook cause it just reboots you. This is junk...
now thats what im talking about
Fanjita is the MAN when is the noobz team coming out with something new not hurrung you up or anything just wondering, oh yea good work Ookm.
Nice. He actually made this program public, instead of having us email him our serial numbers and firmware dumps, under the threat of having our personal information revealed!
... (Test)
work on 2.8 damn it
pleas help me Iam an german guy and I have some problems to understan english ! 2 questions wot is hen c and wot does hen c do !? pleas help me PS: this page is realy gooood and in the usa are very fantastic guy s with cool stuff for the psp ok ! thats from me thankz !!!!!
Just tried it on my TA-082 PSP with 2.71 firmware, and it works. Bad thing is that the web browser dosen't work when hen_c is on, so, when this autoexecutes it, your browser automatically dosen't work, which kinda sucks, since I use my browser alot
