Mootjeuh has released a handy library for those who prefer using C/C++ to code their PSP homebrew projects. This library, called Easy3Dccp, is a collection of functions that makes it easier for devs to use the PSP's 3D engine.

The PSPGen team sure tries hard to make good on their promises. After pushing back the launch of CFW 5.03 GEN-B for HEN due to some last minute bugs last night, now we are off to have a merrier Halloween, thanks to the finally and fully launched product. Although they were not able to overcome the bug that presented itself at the last minute, we still very much appreciate their efforts for the homebrew scene.

An update just went up on PSPGen's site, and in it came the announcement that the much anticipated Custom Firmware 5.03GEN for HEN-B is in the process of being finalized. Said their teaser, "You have a PSP-3000 (or PSP-2000 v3) and official firmware higher than the 5.03? This announcement will make you happy..." Then what are you waiting for!? Due to some unforeseen bugs mucking up the works, custom firmware 5.50GEN-C at the start of the week turned out to be more underwhelming than we hoped. Good thing Team GENyUS was able to roll out a new revision a few days after, with another update launching in the days that followed. 5.50GEN-C may have set the week off on a sour note, but thanks to 5.50GEN-D things still turned out for the best. Homebrew developer Yoshihiro is back  to release a new update for his excellent PSP Games Decrypter. The latest update is based on the recently released EBOOT.BIN Patcher that allows you to play games that requires the OFW 5.55 on CFW M33 and 5.03 GEN. The new version of the decrypter also offers a better compatibility that will come handy for those who can't access the EBOOT patcher in Windows.

M33 users rojoice! Homebrew coder MC707 has released the first version of EBOOT.BIN Patcher. This homebrew tool will allow CFW 5.00 M33-6, 5.03 MHU and 5.03GEN-A users to run 5.55/6.00 games that was patched by Yoshihiro's Games Decrypter or by jas0nuk's PRXDecrypter.
