can we run devhook inside devhook?
another gift from the god...but there coming too fast...i've lost track and i'm confused now :.-( ...so their is a new devhook ok... and there is a HIB that modifies 2.71 embedded ok..and this one is for the new devhook to enable current(1.5) homebrews on 2.71 emulated??
does this mean that any homebrew can run on emulated 2.71? and if so is it running in kernal or user mode?
Yes this is what it says it does. Kerner launch of homebrew in Devhooked(emulated) firmware 2.71!
This goes for the 1.5 users.
Downloaded and allready using it!!!
Thanx Dark_Alex once more ;)
I can't get this to work. I replaced my dh folder with the one in the download, but I'm still getting corrupted data. Any ideas why?
No more swap between firmwares needed !!!
GREAT !
I tried it with WifiSniffer.... But I still get corrupted data, whereas in 1.5, WifiSniffer works perfectly.... Anyone tried it successfully ? and if so, with which homebrew ?
It just gets better and better! I'm almost tempted to update my firmware..... then again.... I think i'll just sit pretty for now on my 1.5 :D
It says "it enables kernel homebrew written for 2.71 to be run with devhook" so homebrew written for 1.5 probably still wont work..
can someone confirm what number 9 is saying ??? so i can get on with my life
*lost*
I POSTED THIS AGES AGO MORONS. (09-23-2006, 11:05 AM)
Why the ***** did i not get any thanks.

http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-homebrew-and-hacks-help-21/t-devhook-xmb-homebrew-permanent-71736.html
ive searched and i dont think ive double posted:
TO GET HOMEBREW working from the XMB on devhook 46:
Copy DAX'S systemctrl.prx to MS0:DH1FLASH0KD
Edit the files
pspbtcnf.txt
pspbtcnf_game.txt
pspbtcnf_update.txt (edited: forgot to add this aswell, it works without it though its just to use the homebrew enabler with the update mode of the psp)
ON THE 12TH Line down add:
/kd/systemctrl.prx
TO BOTH FILES
Reboot DH, run the homebrew created for the patch. (ie the cube demo)
OH and btw you dont need to keep running this everytime you hard reset. this stays permanent as its wrote to the devhook config files.
@12
That still doesn't work. Answer #9, does it only work with homebrew made specifically for devhook or is it supposed to load all 1.5 homebrew?
doesn't work for me :(
Got problems to...
The CPS2 v1.01 emu gives me a blackscreen and a shutdown...
I think there is something going wrong if its sooo easy...oO
From what the readme .txt says, I assume that this works with all kernel homebrew "written for 2.71"..
Just what a guy needs to play with and still keep my 1.5 factory firmware! I wanted to try out Dark_Alex's new homebrew enabler, but do NOT want to upgrade! This is excellent news for guys like me! Would be nice to do homebrew without having to reboot my PSP.
I think we have to use the homebrew enabled for 2.6 and 2.5?
FIRMWARE DUMP PLEASE
@13 it does flippin work, its on my psp, running the custom made apps for the homebrew enabler.
im not bull*****ting, and if you think i am, try it PROPERLY yourself.
@19 get it yourself its illegal to share those files.
i downgraded yesterday on my brothers psp and it worked hahah i used to have 2.71 its usless
is this a tiff exploit and if so will it run on a ta-082? and does it enable loading of isos?
can you make step by step how to install this, its not working
@20
Bollocks, I read the readme, copied the dh onto my root and replaced the files it needed to replace and nothing happened.
Give a better explaination of how to make it work or I label this as PURE BOLLOCKS.
i can now play isos and i just ripped star wars battle front 2 yesterday hahahahahahaha just downgrade i did and it worked
"You will be able to run all your homebrew even inside Devhook now!"
This is plain wrong, because the homebrew needs to be in .prx format for 2.71 firmware. This thing DOES NOT run all your homebrew!
yes, this is awesome, thanks once again Dark_Alex!
yes false info form you guys once again... >_>
they do need ot be prx form. on the plus side, it doesnt seem to be affecting anythign keeping it on with the few mods, unless you didnt look over the files before isnatlling (it doesnt include the screenshot or cwcheat stuff in there)
o well, hopefully this will load pbps in devhook soon tohugh
this thing doesn't work. You guys suck.
@24 (apologies for flaming)
however this does work
ive had it working since i posted the original post
use an uncustomised version of devhook, copy the systemctrl.prx file to ms0:dh1flash0kd
edit the pspbtcnf.txt to look like this: (only copied half the cfg file to save space)
$/kd/sysmem.prx
$/kd/loadcore.prx
/kd/exceptionman.prx
/kd/interruptman.prx
/kd/threadman.prx
/kd/dmacman.prx
/kd/systimer.prx
/kd/iofilemgr.prx
/kd/stdio.prx
ms0:/dh/kd/plain2x.prx
/kd/memlmd.prx
/kd/systemctrl.prx

It's well known that there are aftershocks after huge earthquakes. Although it's a funny analogy, it works perfectly in this situation. After the big earthquake by
