Also if any of the editors at QJ.net would have taken the time to read the Pandora announcement more carefully then they would have known that DA was also involved with that, plus some other very notable people like Nem, BOOSTER, Math plus the people everybody already knows (Noobz).

Also regarding the save state buffer overload, it's highly unlikely that it is even possible on a psp because simply modifying the hardware a little would enable sony to add a switch that can block write access to the nand in game... Furthermore, i believe one of two things hapened: either a new service mode hack or my more far fetched idea is physically removing the memmory chips off the psp 2000 motherboard, hooking them up to the original psp and then running a 1.5 nand dump off of the mem card (using pandora) accessing the flash through the 1.5 kernel in a standard eboot (of course a driver change might be neccessary for the new hardware to be readable) such as booster's usbsss

I'm willing to bet that the 3.6 is going to be for both psp's hence the ir prx. And wouldnt it be a good idea for them to wait for a while after the slims are being sold to release how they were able to decrypt the firmware so sony cant try to do any last minute changes to the firmware?

A dumped PSP Slim means many things (i believe). The Pandora Battery did not work on the PSP Slim. This is probably because Sony changed the flash location, and the IPL settings. Since the new PSP runs on a new motherboard, coder have to figure out the new code that allows you to get into service mode, so you would most likely need a PSP Slim IPL. Once the Pandora Battery is proven to run on the PSP Slim with its modifications, then all that needs to be done is a firmware hack which allows you to run homebrew.
A dumped PSP Slim means many things (i believe). The Pandora Battery did not work on the PSP Slim. This is probably because Sony changed the flash location, and the IPL settings. Since the new PSP runs on a new motherboard, coder have to figure out the new code that allows you to get into service mode, so you would most likely need a PSP Slim IPL. Once the Pandora Battery is proven to run on the PSP Slim with its modifications, then all that needs to be done is a firmware hack which allows you to run homebrew.

When i read that, i couldn't help but smile. Dark_AleX is a psp HBscene legend. If he hops on board with hacking the PSP Slim, it will definiatley happen. It's wise that they are waiting to release this (if they even will) because we all know sony would do some gay ass patch and ruin it for all the rest of us that want a hacked US psp slim.

DA is retired he only helped MAth becuase unlike most ppl he actually still trusts a few hackers out there. U pompus *****s need to shut up bout ***** u dont know. So what they didnt tell how to dump the *****. DA never truly released the source for his CFW. Ppl just need to shutup if DA wants to help those he trusts let him. If they dont tell us how they did this or that let em. Im surprised they even released this yea its a big breakthrew but they must realize how stupid ppl will treat this. Hopefully DA will comeback but with a lot of *****s out there(pandoras battey cough cough) He might resign to just helping the hackers he truly trusts.
