PSP homebrew developer Xarro - who recently released the PSPWebcam application - has just sent out a video teaser of his latest upcoming project - a "Windows" API coded in Lua. API, for the guys wondering, is short for application programming interface, is often used as part of software development kits sent out to developers when building apps for particular Operating Systems.

Based on the description Xarro gave in the youtube video, this homebrew seems to be based on the Microsoft Windows API. Of course, we'll just have to wait for further clarifications - that shouldn't stop curious souls from watching the preview vid, though. Happy viewing!

When running a lua app, I dont think anyone would care about the Firmware version on your psp there mate.

Maybe if you were showing us an exploit on 3.50 or something, but not a lua program or any other homebrew for that matter

On to the app itself, well I think its a pretty nifty app.
Although it isnt all that hard to put together. Anxious to see how this will turn out in the end.

I don't see much use in it unless it was like a prx that you could boot your psp into.

I think this is more than just a shell, it doesn't look like much for a shell at the moment, to me this looks more like a GUI system, possibly to make a "LUA OS" to handle applications.
For that it looks good and I wish you good luck with further work on it, Xarro
