Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 is slowly getting closer to its release date, and as it just so happens, Chris Hinojosa-Miranda, Associate Producer at SCEA, has announced that the game has reached gold status.

Hinojosa-Miranda notes a couple of interesting new tweaks for the game, such as new characters (11 of them) and cosmetic/stat-boosting items (Chicken Nugget Pets FTW!). He also talked about the courses that'll be a part of the game, with some of them paying homage to the first Open Tee - something the fans can geekgasm over.
