cool
The activeX control is just for the XMLHttpRequest object (AJAX.) Its only needed in Internet Explorer, Firefox users dont need to worry about it.
Im acctually suprised that the author of this didnt have it installed already, TONS of sites use AJAX nowadays.
I
^ meant to say : I LOVE JAPAN!
hello,foreign exchange people
Ummmm....ok.....
Thats SUPER useful....
(Sarcastic overtones intended)
Well you can atleast enjoy the babe section, it seems they are free (there is a small free logo to the right of the picture)...
Best regards!

Hey...
I would LOVE to download my content to my PSP in the HiRes using the XMB... hope this will be possible very soon with a Custom Firmware... cause the possibility seems to be there... mmmh... good times are about to come!!!
how the hell are u supposed to use for these file formats? are theyonly for japanese psp or something? or was it in the 3.03 update?
error can not download
wtf?'

for those who might not be able to do it. y not put hese file son a server somewhere so that other ppl can go there and download it instead of going though all the hassel
Well DRM lets you NOT share them!
Crazy stuff!
i cant download,do i have to make an account to so-net?
that is all.
I got a login error or something, but if you go back to the page it works and downloads correctly.
If you were a good psp news site you would have pspdownloadswitch.net on here.It has free movies, tv show and everything you could dream of for the psp!!!!
Just a few notes:
- If you don't like IE or having troubles with it, just hit the www.P-TV.jp site on your PSP and follow the guide above (note that the Genre and Category menus are on the sidebar via pulldowns rather than up top.)
- Some have said that Custom Firmware has caused problems downloading these clips either on PSP or over USB. So, if you can't win with one or the other, you might not be a winner.
- This isn't actually new News, unfortunately. P-TV.jp has had full-res videos up for months downloadable, and yet there's still no software that compresses to 480x270 and there was no change in whether or not PSP allowed handmade 480 video when 3.00 rolled around. So, if you're hoping that because these clips are new to you that this is an indicator that Sony will finally loosen up the restrictions, not the case; However, if you're getting the thought that maybe those restrictions might not actually be there (like, maybe the reason 480x270 video won't play on a standard PSP is the same reason why legit AVC that plays in the MP_ROOT folder won't play in the new Video folder), you might be onto something...?
I'm just getting errors here. wtf?
wtf, q..j stop makin lame news plz, this is older than my dead grandma's grandma
I've got a few clips and they work great on 3.03OE-A, Just wonder if any hackers out there could crack this so we can convert our own vids in this quality (which looks extremely good on the PSP).
PS: Japanese Girls Are Hot!
If you get the chance, try pulling apart the files or testing with them, they're really interesting. For one, even the 4:3 videos display as 480:270 (which is odd, sounds like the pixel ratio is in the text rather than read on the machine?), and also, if you play it in VLC, you'll see that the thumbnail is actually inside the video as a separate stream.
Q: Are Sony releasing Worldwide?
A: They are reported to be trialling in Japan. If things turn out well we might see the service rolled out Worldwide.
I have the P-TV icon under the network on the xmb, and it basically takes me directly to the site. At first i had no idea what it was until i went to official Japanese site and saw that is was a site for downloading content.
what is an xmb
i want that to
I have a jap - white psp and I have an icon below web browser in the XMB titled "P-TV" and it links straight to a psp portal for the site. This first appeard when i was using devhook but it also apears in 3.03 oe-a because of my jap flash1. Any US psp should be capable of using this if you go into the recovery menu and over-ride the psp as japanese instead of default(US). hope this helps but I havn't tried on a us psp.
it does work on us psp, been trying to sign up since 3.02oea
Why da hell does everything done by Sony have to be so complicated and so damn badly design ???
Anyway, I have a white japanese psp (if ever it was suppose to make a difference...), I have been trying to download one damn free video from p-tv, and it says me testmast@b44/test01 must be some kind of bad, blacklisted or something like that. Anyway, is there any way to register a new account on p-tv ? I just wished I learned japanese :/
I just realised that Sony will probably be spying on your computer if you install the Video Downloader...
I closed just as a I clicked the ActiveX thing so I'll probably be safe...
paranoid ...
PTV...
isnt that the name for peters tv station on family guy???
This is an amazing piece of Shxt! Works perfectly!!! THANKS
j "isnt that the name for peters tv station on family guy???"
It sure is :P
I forgot to remind everybody that when i was in 1.5 mode, the website will require me to update my psp when i wanted to download the video into my psp. so what i did was just boot up to 3.01 tru devhook0.51 and click on "RESCAN" (at the download prompt of the p-tv site) and no longer requires any update on my psp. and i download a few hot japanese girls videos! wow my axxs!!! hot hot hot!
Did i mention that the download speed was super fast!???!
