What do we have here? A working right analog stick for the PSP? Well, if that isn't a treat. canwehackit shared this vid over at YouTube, but not before doing some tweaking with his PSP for the mod, of course. |

1ST POST!!!!!!!!! BOO YAH!!!!
You should be placed in a dump truck, dumped into a pile of sh*t and then have your balls but off. Oh wait, you dont have any!
Goddamn, you are so poor!
-----------------------------------
I WANT SUCH A 2nd ANALOG STICK, gimme those premodified parts :-) how much are they?
GO FIRST POSTER!!!
as long as it was available in the uk i would purchase this mod and fit it. this idea is fantastic and i cant believe that sony never did this themselves.
it would be interesting to find out how much it would be, as a replacement joypad for the left is not much at all.
Did someone actually see something cuz its awfully dark inthere !!!
No blueprints, pictures of the mod itself nothing, what a poor news...
Did you read the *****ing article you R-tard its a prototype if the demand is high enough, THEN the parts will be available jesus man read the *****ing article before you run that ***** of a mouth of yours Y O U ***** I N G M O R O N
If you wanna ask "can we hack it?" about anything regarding this mod, go to http:/nextpsphacks.com/.
There are also tons of other PSP modding stuff, mostly softmodding!
psp should have been like this out of the box ._.
Good job on your mod. It looks promising. I hope you will perfect it soon and maybe release it to the public.
Excellent work but im curious what the game is?
Its Ghost in the shell.
Nice and clean, doesn't the PSP look so much better this way? Hopefully Sony will take a hint once more and more people perform this mod just as Nintendo did with GBA and GBAsp once people took it upon themselves to ad backlighting to the lcd's. I'm sure Sony won't miss a chance to cop out.
Also, I would like to know what game is being played int he demonstration, looks like a decent sci-fi fps
I've never seen that game for PSP, and it looks like a rather decent game so it seems like it would have been reviewed by now...
its ghost in the shell people
Mod looks great I'm gonna do it - also what is that game in the video?
also do you think i can use the analogue stick from my bricked psp to do this?
thats what the game is, it sucks.
all games in general suck for psp you can thank sony for that
Yes, because nintendo DS has got better games.
(sarcasm)
How do i get this mod??
i want a premade kit right now!!! xD
We are planning on developing a solderless kit for this mod the kit will be as easy as changing your face plate with the one we provide.. More information can be found at either www.Nextpsphacks.com or WWW.AcidMods.COM
Grandpasmurf - SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!
there is a valid reason for not having pics for this mod. we dont want to be responsabile for broken psp.. so until the mod is completed its a secret.. we will be posting updates at www.acidmods.com & www.nextpsphacks.com so go there and ask the questions you might have in the forums..
Great news. Now I can play even with more fun like this picture lover fetishists form http://gimps.de already do.
Thank you for sharing this story with me !
did anyone notice when he presses the shoulder button to fire that sometimes there is a delay in firing on the game specially at 23-25 seconds into it
the reason is when i put the faceplate on it didnt fit right because i cut off a screw mount by mistake and i had to press it really hard and sometimes it just didnt work...
and it sucks, you wanna know how much it sucks? it sucks like the game rengoku.
where you can use a wireless, or wired, controller for player 2 and the handheld psp for p1 so two players can play against each other while watching the psp screen?
Best functionality hardware mod I've seen for the PSP! great work! Hoping for a tutorial
They should have a dual L and R mod.
The image is very bad but I think I never saw the player using the left analog stick!! How can we now is the right analog stick is using the left analog stick connections?! If it is true then soon we can expect this to be on the market with "easy on mounting kit".
