PSP Rhythm v7.1 - Image 1

When it comes to homebrew application PSP Rhythm, it's sometimes scary as updates don't come in close intervals. We're not complaining or anything though. It's just that we fear, like the last time around, that the PSP Rhythm Development Team will eventually let go of it. But to our surprise, the developer proved us wrong once more (and that's okay!) and rolled out version 7.1.

Basically, PSP Rhythm is an audio sequencer and re-mixer. If that short bit didn't do it for you, here's a longer explanation for yah: the program is a music workstation in itself. It has various features like playback and manipulation of audio effects and samples. If you will, it can be considered as a song re-arranger (take audio samples and tinker with them, and record your own songs).

Since December, a few changes have been implemented to PSP Rhythm, but don't let the number of the improvements fool you as all of them are highly important. The changelog for version 7.1 is as follows:
  • Pattern Sample Playback (Loop)
  • Export Song by Audio Track
  • Improved Graphics
  • Improved Audio Engine
  • Improved Rendering to Wave File
  • Bug fixes

does this one actually work cus i tried version 7 with 3.03 OE-C, 3.10 OE-A', from irshell, in 150 kernal, in 303 kernal, in 310 kernal, and with the prx that reboots the psp but instead of going back to the xmb it runs an eboot and i have never gotten it to work. so i hope this one works cus ive always liked this application.

This looks really nice. PSP needs more music programs. They haven't even released Music Generator for it.

This is a nice aplication, I plan to use this to my advantage. The interface is great, the controls are simple and I love the idea of a psp sampler/sequencer/drum machine. Can't wait for another update! w00t!
