I'm half-Japanese, half-American. The Japanese do not hate America at all, in fact, they love America. They take in most things American from food, clothing, music, television shows, movies and more. There are some that still may feel bitter about the war, but they aren't out for your necks.
Just because the design team is different it doesn't mean there's passive hate flowing around.

Regarding this whole issue, based on what I read in the article, nothing seems to have been changed about the gameplay itself,and there have not been any reports of any bonuses exclusive to the Japanese version either. As far as I'm concerned, it's pretty much the same game as with our version.
That being said, didn't we get the better end of the deal since our version was released prior to the Japanese version anyways?
