Atari announced today it will publish Kao the Kangaroo Round 2 for current-generation consoles and PC, and Kao Challengers for the PSP this March, picking up the platforming titles from previous publisher JoWooD. In Kao the Kangaroo Round 2, players once again take the role of the wily yellow kanga in an effort to save animals from a nasty hunter and his henchmen. The game offers more than 30 enemies, varied fighting techniques, and gameplay spanning platforming, fighting, and racing. Kao Challengers adds wireless multiplayer, as well as four bonus levels set in a mysterious swampland. [via IGN] |

I have this game for PSP already (had it over a month now), and it freezes on an under water level and I can't get any further. It freezes and switches PSP off. Any solutions?! (Europe release)
This is the second game. You have the first.
But I hope in this one you don't end up stuck in walls all the time.
Wrong! Kao Challengers is a PORT of Kao the Kangaroo Round 2, masking this fact with a little name change.
I had no problem with the game on my PSP, neither with crash bugs nor with sticky walls. An OK game, but only if you didn't play too many 3D platformers yet.
This is NOT the second game, the game was NEVER published in the USA.
If you didn't play the game, don't make up anything. Check the screenshots, I finished this game already and it is one of the greatest platform/adventure games out there. And kicks crash's butt!
ROFL
this game is utter crap
i wouldnt let an 8 yr play this. Full every platformer cliche in the book and done badly at that..
I got all excited then thinkin there was another Kao for the PSP, but ive already got it bein in the UK and all. lol
And yeh, it does freeze on the water levels. I did a search on google bout it. Apparently it works if u update to 2.60, so i downgraded to 1.50 and used fastloader to play the umd and bypass the update, and it works fine.
