This week's Famitsu has unveiled some new screenshots for Square Enix's upcoming PSP title, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. While the readers are already pretty familiar with Terra, the scans also reveal an in-game shot of Aqua, the female knight of the trio.

Other characters included in the scans are Maleficent, Sora, Snow White, and a couple of other toons from Disney's Cinderella. The scans also unveil several new combat shots, though we can't elaborate further given the text is all in Japanese:

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is currently expected to launch by 2009, so we should have plenty of time to delve further into any new details that may arise. Visit us again in case any more related information comes our way.

I am hoping that every time a new Kingdom Hearts comes out, less Disney will be there and more 'KH series' and 'FF Series'.

Uh, where's Sora?

I see Ven, Terra, Aqua, Maleficient, Snow White, Cinderella and the cat and one of the mice from Cinderella, but none of those pictures have Sora in them. . .

Howcome we didn't end up with any of these from DKS though? It says DKS report in the top corners. Would have thought we'd've seen this sort of thing elsewhere before it had time to get into a publication.

i think they might have mistaken Ven for Sora cuz I don't see him either.

If I'm not mistaken it's a story with Roxas, not sora.

this is ten years before KH1 so this is when sora was about 4 yrs. and the annigram thing with sora and roxas is correct even though your a bit late festizzio.

That's Ven, not Sora, not Roxas.
Roxas has his own DS game, and Sora has a mobile game. So I guess square created a look-a-like for the PSP.

I know. They said Sora was on one of the screenshots though if you read the article. That's what I was asking about.

Think noob's right though, they just got him and Ven mixed up.
