There may be two new Metal Gear Solid games on the way, but according to the latest issue of Famitsu, series mastermind Hideo Kojima is fully involved with only one: the PSP title, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

In an interview with the Japanese gaming mag (actually, it's the same one from last week's issue, only the censored parts were revealed), Kojima said that in addition to writing the script and producing the game -- which he confirmed during the game announcement at Sony's E3 press conference -- he will also be serving as the director and game designer.

Of course, he will also be involved with Metal Gear Solid: Rising by serving as the game's producer along with Kenichiro Imaizumi. Said Kojima, "I'm not the director. I'm not doing game design either. Although, I do issue complaints (laughs). But, not too much."

Interestingly, Kojima refers to both Rising and Peace Walker as "Metal Gear Solid 5". He describes the former as a "next generation MGS5", while the latter is "the MGS5 inside me".
