The english taught in the Moe-tan books is pretty funny tho. Stuff like "Beating up slimes is the path of a young boy who wants to one day be a hero."
Basically, the first book's english lessons are absolutely useless to "normal" people. Only gamers would ever use them.
Which IMO is absolutely awesome.

Anyway, just to get you a glimpse of "English" taught - Sentences on first two pages of Volume 1 (choosing the best ones would be too cheap, get it on amazon):

compound: The monstrosity was compounded of machinery, animal and plant. Any person would know the component by its name.
And I love how you can reverse the book jacket to have it read in boring 18th century academic-style print "Methodology of English, The Academic Necessity"
