The LocoRocos are coming!!! It's only a few weeks away, and SCEA is just as excited as we all are, so much so that they have made sure that LocoRoco 2 will be accessible to everyone at a cheap enough price! How cheap? Try 2 movie tickets' worth cheap.

That's right. the much-awaited game for the PSP will sell for only US$ 19.99. And in perfect timing, too. For sure not everyone have the cash to spare to buy some games for their handhelds, so this pricing really is a good deal.

In case you're still not sure whether your 20 bucks is worth it, then check out this preview video for LocoRoco 2 from the IGN. I love how they  made the singing of the LocoRocos more interactive. It's got that Patapon vibe to it, though not so much.

Can't wait!

LocoRoco 2 comes to your PSP on February 10th.

 » yeah

guess they didn't dare charge more as that game only consists of 12 or so levels and can be finished just within a few hours....its quite cute and loco-roco-ish allright, but there are way too few levels to be completly satisfied with it...

 » BTW:

Do people seriously pay $10 for a movie ticket? That's crazy.

12 levels? That's not what the reviews say...

I've tried locoRoco2, and it really looks like the first game, with not that much improvements.
Especially, it looks ugly on the new psp3000 screen. I didn't like the ghost effect on the old phat screen, but I think the interlacing is worse.
So yeah, 20$ is probably a fair price, for something that would have been called an "addon" if it were a PC game.

 » Well...

$20 is perfectly reasonable for an addon.

Let's not mis-represent what they're selling here. It's hardly a new standalone game, but rather a nice little addon.

Media and marketing enjoy mis-representation in order to promote sales. Great to see QJ acting as their ***** in order to promote the bottom line.

fail.
