Rawr! For a PlayStation Store update that doesn't include a single PS3 demo, this one is quite a show-stopper. This week's PSN update for Europe brings huge packs for various PS3 games: NFS Undercover bundles, Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks, and LittleBigPlanet's LocoRoco Sackboy costumes. Speaking of blobs, the LocoRoco 2 demo for the PSP also goes live! Woot. LocoRoco goin' loco!

Locoroco 2 finally gets released next week in Europe - about a month ahead of everyone else (not much of a surprise considering the first game got similar treatment with regional release dates). There are roughly seven more days before the game gets launched in Europe, and to anticipate the retail release, Sony has partnered with the Spil Games online portal to deliver all you blobby fans a bit of a special treat: it's an online Flash mini-game for LocoRoco 2!

The adorable blobs of fun are really back, and now you'll have more reasons to feel all warm and fuzzy inside again. Get more LocoRoco 2 in 11 minutes of video - with more animal friends, more color, and bigger levels.

Relatively late as LittleBigPlanet will be heading for Europe, the Three Speech blog is doing European gamers justice by conveniently listing all of next month's first-party game releases for the PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS2. There's a bunch of SingStar titles - mmmkay that's nice to know - but hurrah!, there's also Resistance 2 and LocoRoco 2! (And of course, LBP too.)

This LocoRoco 2 trailer is just too wild to describe. In a few words, it'd be "oh just the typical craziness you can expect in a Locoroco game." In a few more words, it'd be "lots of rolling, lots of blobs, singing moja, afro armor, locorocos in outer space, the bite-grab ability, blobs inhabiting a croc's nostrils, the 3D-rendered locoroco, cakes, flowers, and giant penguins, the mui-mui house, the side-scrolling shmup minigame, and another Katamari-reference at the end of the video." ...And that's to say the least!

A December release window in Asia for LocoRoco 2 looks more likely today as we get confirmation that SCEJ's blobby sequel will be rolling into Japanese retail come December 4. This, coming from Japanese online retailer GMStar.
