LocoRoco ad

LocoRoco may have failed to drive the Japanese crazy but Sony is trying to resuscitate the game with new TV spots. Although the title was included in the 15 Most Anticipated PSP Games, its actual sales proved disappointing and its price tag was downgraded to bargain levels. But apparently, Sony isn't taking no for an answer. The company launched a new ad campaign featuring Japanese pop icon Ryoko Shinohara.

Is Sony just wasting it's money re-selling LocoRoco? One reason attributed to LocoRoco's failure to launch was Sony's original ad campaign for the game. Hopefully, they got it right this time. Meanwhile, the game will be released this first week of September in North America. Let's see if this hemisphere will be friendlier to the blob.

Here's a glimpse at the upcoming Loco Roco advertisement featuring Ryoko Shinohara.

STFU noob, nintendo IS a kiddy handheld for mostly KIDDY games. Only few days ago I read on a blog some 11yr old kid cried to see a PSP in a DS case.. google it.. it proves DS is what it is for KIDS and so are the games on it.

FF makes no difference to hundreds of others washed down, rehashed and mediocre kiddy titles. DS is nothing but a cheap toy with a LOT of old-skool hype.

Spoken like a true fanboy + a true non-gamer.

I guess you still haven't realized that a good amount of the games for Sony's consoles all had previous sequels that came out on Nintendos handheld.

So according to your logic, alot of games for Sony's consoles are kid games.

"STFU noob, nintendo IS a kiddy handheld for mostly KIDDY games."

Prove it. Your opinion is one thing but you can't deny facts so go on and prove it.

This doesn't prove a *****, I could find the same *****ing crap on another blog that say the same thing about the PSP. Does that make it true? No (but according to you it would make it true, again you proven yourself to be a true fanboy)

Not that I care if Final Fantasy is any good or bad, but I just took it as an example because the sales for it were pretty good, and 500 000 sold units during the first week seems awfully alot for a handheld for kids and a game for kids. So something must be wrong eh?

DS is nothing but a cheap toy with a LOT of old-skool hype.

And the PSP is a handheld device that obviously have a format that's not being supported enough, a handheld device that is being completely dominated by another handheld device for kids (according to some), a product that rip off it's consumers with the price, and a product that do not even get enough of game support for the time being. So what's your *****ing point? I support both the DS and the PSP, because both are great. I don't put a limit for my gaming world, which you do and which is a sad thing.

Based on your post you can't be older then 14 and you're probably 12.

I guess you still haven't realized that a good amount of the games for Sony's consoles had prequels that came out on Nintendos consoles first.
