this is so awesome, we will be able to play on a big screen.
great job keep it up
How do you get it to work?
ya how do u do it would like TO KNOW
im gonna try this later. But how exactly does this work? do i need anything more?
How you do it. please qj tell us more!
why dont you tell us in depth instructions. You tell us nothing on how to start this.Let alone play it.
it is quite easy to start this, just google for this:
'how to run elf files on my ps2'
seriously QJ, you made my day with this post =D
the guy who thought that a lua port was a great idea for ps2.. well he owns ^^
altho the resolution is a bit akward, hurts my eyes really =(
cant wait for futher updates on this proggy *drewl*
I can't wait to see more on this!!!!!!!!
not many of you have any experience whatsoever in ps2 modding. buy swapmagic, create a SWAPMAGIC folder in the root of your psp, put the elf file in it and name it SWAPMAGIC.ELF. then, load the swapmagic disc on your ps2, and play on.
that would be awesome to be able to load psp homebrew on the ps2. I hope they continue this project very far. And u don't have to have a swap magic to load this, u can use the memory stick exploit (like me) google it.
wth do u do? seriously
can i run this on a ps2 emulator on my computer?
why not just find the port of the games for a PC
it does not make sense to emulate a ps2 on a pc to have it "emulate/load" some homebrew
the lua player 4 windows is crap
Where do I obtain this swapmagic disk. Shouldnt this be in playstation2 news not psp I mean it is about the ps2. I didnt know there was even homebrew but I forgot you could use jumpdrives and your psp as memory. i was thinking you could on use the memory card lol sorry i forgot you could use other memory devices. Seriously though go into more detail.
First it says PSOne, but then it continues to talk about PS2. Also, this is nothing near PSP emulation on the PS2. This is a LUA Player for the PS2. There is a LUA Player for PC also. No big deal
Dunno how to do is so ***** you qj posting retard news that we cant use it.
Is there a way to do homebrew on a classic PS2? I dont have the slimline one
it is actually easier to get homebrew on your classic ps2 than slimline...
just look for this: PS2 independance exploit
1. Buy a Mod Chip for your PS2.
2. Buy the Swap Magic Disks with either the Fliptop or the Slide Tools or make your own Slide Tools.
3. MemCard Exploit (use google or www.ps3news.com)
4. Enjoy and Use your brain.............................
5. Homebrew for the ps2 is not something new....
all of those involve buying something (mod chip, swap disc, memcard reader)... is there any way to get homebrew on a ps2 without actually buying anything extra?
the ps2 memory card exploit can be done without buying anything just existing ps1 game and an action replay (or a friend who's ps2 is chipped, or a friend who can lend you an action replay.
then follow the steps at exploitation dot com
