Ó

Logo of LuaPlayer homebrew app for PSP - Image 1We've seen a lot of LuaPlayer apps land themselves on the PlayStation Portable so far. However, those without a handheld have to rely on a rather outdated version of LuaPlayer on the Windows platform just to run those Lua files.

Fortunately, homebrew developer blah took the time out to release a new Windows-based LuaPlayer based on the v0.20 release of the original application.

LuaPlayer Windows is still a work in progress, so not all of the features found on other versions may be included. The developer is currently working on adding MP3 support for the next build and should be ready very soon.

In any case, we hope you enjoy this latest incarnation of LuaPlayer for Windows. You can leave any feedback regarding the program by visiting either the project's release thread or the QJ.NET PSP Development forum, both accessible through the links we've provided below.

This is nothing new, not even close. These files come bundled with the player itself!

» yes, actually it is updated..

The Lua player for windows thats bundled is based on .16 i think... this is a bit updated to .20 (if you would read you would know) and he's also planning to update it past .20 to add mp3 support.

Nothing major, but it is still updated, and it's news.

So actually, yes. It is close to new.
