Tetsuya MizuguchiLumines 2 for PSP is such an interesting game, we can't have enuff interviews with its creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi. This time, Tetsuya speaks to SPOnG while pushing the game in Europe. And we must commend the SPOnG team for coming up with such a stylish video presentation.

Anyway, back to Tetsuya, he says Lumines 2 was designed to appeal to both males and females, kids and old men - everybody - who love to play the game and listen to the music. Speaking of music, did you know Lumines 2 has 100 music tracks compared to the 40 tracks from the previous version? Yep, so whatever kind of music you're into (except polka) you will find the right track for you.

Tetsuya said blending the right music style with with game play was one of the biggest challenges he had to face. The trick was finding  the right balance between the gameplay and the music track/music video. If the game was too difficult, players wont be able to enjoy the music and music video.

Lumines 2 for the PSP will be out in Europe this month but the interview is available right now.

 » great game

this is really a step up from the last great game, im still bummed i cant play my own tracks but they have really good ones.
it's cool playing throught it with different music videos and such is going on. my biggest problem is i can play it on the hardest difficulty and i just can't lose... after hours of playing i get exausted and just have to quit. i wish they let me save mid-game so i could start where i left off. however thats the only negative thing i can say about this game.
