If you missed out on Dark AleX's special "birthday surprise" that was sprung on PlayStation Portable users last April 2, you still have a chance to see it again and possibly keep it for good thanks to a plug-in developed by Red_Squirrel.

So, what exactly does the "birthday surprise" do? It's basically an Easter Egg inserted by the Dark AleX that activated on April 2. It changes all the entries found on the System Information to 3's (as seen in the image above).

This plugin, M33xEver, permanently sets the date of your handheld to April 2 every time you boot it up. It only sets the day and the month on your PSP's calendar, so the time and the year are still accurate.

Aside from that, the XMB waves tend to move a lot faster than normal. Please note that this only works for those who have custom firmware 3.90 M33-3 installed on your PSP.

For instructions on how to install this plug-in, you can view it by opening the Readme.txt file included in the file bundle we've provided below.

my gameboy roms in Masterboy were hella fast... maybe due to the same thing that speeds up the waves...

Most emulators are now almost final so its starts to get hard to get rid of the must complex bugs that hevent got fixed , and why the way BINARY emulators are great you dont have to buy the system nor the games and you can have it all in the palm of your hands!!

yeah its great for games you dont have but I prefer the real thing becasue thats where the non-complex bugs.

Like if you play mario on a pc, just don't feel right and refresh rate not so fast.

» oh, that's what that was

Ooooh, that was freaky. I was wondering what that was. I thought it was a bug. I told my friend that it's not all that inaccurate since 2 days added to March 31 is 3/33 but I never would have realized it is an easter egg. Just another reason to love the HB scene!!

I didnt either so never noticed it. Just pretend its 2nd April by changing the date then you'll see.
This plugin is pretty useless too though.
