i love MAME
Can any of the street fighters be played with this at decent speeds?
The previous version only allowed mid-80ies games to be played at full speed (e.g. ghouls n ghosts). Final Fight / Punisher (= Street Fighter hardware) was really slow.
not working on 2.xx.....when i choose this apps, it stucks and shuts off my psp...
Does any of the Metal Slug Games work, and if they do, do they run at a decent speed?
Methinks there is a tad too much slowdown with the neo geod cdz emulator :P
Anyone know if this can play the Simpsons arcade game??
I applaud the effort, but against polished EMUs like NJ's CPS ones, this one sucks. The compatibility is poor and the performance average, even on old old titles. I tried games like Green Beret which ran like crap under this EMU.
I applaud the effort put in so far, don't get me wrong, but this EMU has a long way to go before it'll stand toe to toe with NJ's work which makes much more recent Arcade games run super slick.
Does anyone know where there is a compatibility list of some sort?
Also, to #5, I'd be looking at the Neo Geo arcade emulator for MS compatibility, but thats just me.
Don't work in my 2.01 version :(
The Simpsons arcade game, by Konami, was the BEST 2d arcade game at my local arcade. I REALLY hope this works at full speed/sound soon, or ...ever for that matter.
can any1 tell me if u get this working on 2.xx?
having trouble getting this to recognise roms.. is it ok to leave them compressed or should i be doing something special to them b4 sticking them in the "roms" directory??
..im running 1.5 and trying just two roms, mortal kombat 2 and golden axe. 1 old and 1 new :P
got the compatability list and got it to recognise roms.. but there is some major bugs to iron out on this one!! keep up the good work though boys..
firmware 2.6 no worky
Yeah, definitely use the NeoGeo Emulator to play Metal Slug series...it runs GREAT on that!
I've tried the version in this web and it doesn't seem to work.
I've tried changing the names of the folders, etc and I couldn't.
BUT I downloaded another version from another web and it worked!!!
this is a link to a file 0.0.3 that REALLY works on FW2.5
(web is in spanish)
http://beta.pesepe.com/index.php?q=system/files&file=Mame4all2xxv003.rar
(note to admin)
please, change the file for the 2.XX version :)
For some reason, the file from the source for 2.xx users is corrupted. A new file has been put up and it should be ok now (just check the download link in the post). Thanks for calling our attention xiringu. :)
Superman rom works.
What about us 1.0 firmware users? Anyone have a site that hosts a 1.0 version? No, I am not going to update to 1.5.
i can play pacman and digdug on this or what?
2.01+ works now with update file
Big roms arent supports

i hope this works with x-men vs street fighter!
Ok release, minor improvements, but some minor cuts like the display resolution of CPS-1 games which appears to be cut on both sides of the screen.
Btw, any CPS-2 game is not supported by MAME4ALL, only CPS-1. Xmen vs SF and any of the SF Alpha games are CPS-2. Even SF2 does not work currently.
How do you install the emulator?
does this play samurai show down 5??
WHAT ABOUT MARVEL VS CAPCOM!!!!
Marvel vs. Capcom is a CPS-2 ROM, which, according to #24, means no, it will not run. Maybe in the distant future, but for now, no.
make sure you download the romset (around .36-.38) that jives with the mameforall gpx release.. if your'e trying to use new mame roms complied for the latest mame release, youll be out of luck.
thanks drgojira for the list of working/non-working :)
SHINOBI works?
